WHAT IT DOES
ICT-SMC Order Flow Risk & Order Management EA is a semi-automatic trade management panel for MetaTrader 5 that puts risk first. You decide how much money you are willing to risk per trade — the EA calculates the exact lot size from your stop-loss distance, places the order (market or pending), and then manages the position automatically: price-based or R-based partial closes, breakeven, R-based trailing stop, and an R-multiple take-profit. Built for ICT / SMC order-flow discretionary traders who trade Order Blocks, Fair Value Gaps, liquidity sweeps and BOS/CHoCH entries. No indicators, no black box, no martingale, no grid. You stay in control of every entry; the EA enforces the risk and exit plan.
KEY FEATURES
1. TRUE FIXED-RISK SIZING Risk a fixed amount (e.g. $100) or a percentage of your balance per trade. The lot size is calculated as risk / loss-per-lot at your stop — correct on any symbol (forex, metals, indices, crypto, energies) and any timeframe.
2. DRAW YOUR STOP-LOSS ON THE CHART Click "Draw", click once on the chart, and a horizontal stop-loss line appears at that exact price. Drag it anytime to adjust — open positions and pending orders sync instantly.
3. MARKET AND PENDING ENTRIES One click for market Buy/Sell. One click for pending orders — the order type (Limit or Stop) is inferred automatically from where your entry line sits relative to the market.
4. PARTIAL CLOSE BY PRICE (3 STEPS) Scale out 30% / 30% / 40% (or any combination) at three price levels. Set each trigger three ways: type the price, click [Pick] and select it on the chart, or drag the orange dashed line. Direction-aware: buy positions trigger on the way up, sell positions on the way down. Percentages summing to 100% give you a full scale-out by the final step.
5. AUTO BREAKEVEN + R-BASED TRAILING STOP Move the stop to entry (plus an optional lock for spread/commission) after a chosen R, then trail the stop forward in R steps as the trade advances.
6. AUTOMATIC TAKE-PROFIT TP is placed at your chosen R multiple of the initial stop distance. Drag the TP line to override at any time.
7. EVERYTHING EDITABLE ON THE CHART Risk amount, partial-close prices and percentages — all editable directly in the panel, effective immediately. Settings auto-save and are restored after timeframe switches or terminal restarts. A one-click Reset restores the input defaults.
8. SAFETY FIRST Broker minimum stops-level checks, free-margin checks, min-lot validation and direction validation run before every order. Filling mode is auto-detected (FOK/IOC/RETURN).
9. CLEAN AND NON-INTRUSIVE Tracks only its own orders by Magic Number — your manual trades and other EAs are never touched. Works on hedging and netting accounts.
HOW TO USE
1. Attach the EA to a chart and allow Algo Trading.
2. Click "Draw" and click on the chart to place your stop-loss line.
3. Set your risk amount and the partial-close levels in the panel.
4. Click Buy / Sell / Pend Buy / Pend Sell — the EA handles sizing, placement and management. INPUT PARAMETERS (SUMMARY) - Risk mode: fixed amount or % of balance, per-trade risk, max lot, slippage - Stop-loss: default distance (points) when no line is drawn - Take-profit: R multiple - Breakeven: trigger R, lock in points - Trailing: enable, start R, step R - Pending orders: default entry offset, expiry hours (0 = GTC) - Partial close: 3 steps, each with trigger price and percentage (price = 0 disables the step) - Magic number and order comment REQUIREMENTS - MetaTrader 5 (any recent build) - Any symbol and any timeframe (tested on FX, gold, indices) - Hedging or netting account IMPORTANT RISK NOTICE Trading carries a substantial risk of loss.
