I build indicators and Expert Advisors for MetaTrader 5.
How I work:
- Every indicator is checked for repainting: signals are decided on closed bars only, and an every-tick test confirms they do not change afterwards. - Version: 1.0
- Activations: 5
EA Health Monitor Pro watches every Expert Advisor on your MetaTrader 5 account and tells you when one needs attention. One row per EA (by magic number), manual trades on their own row, a result curve for each, and alarms when floating loss or drawdown passes your limit or an EA goes quiet.
It only reads the account history and open positions. It never opens, changes or closes a trade.
What it does
- Per EA: closed trades, net result, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, max drawdown of the realized result, today's result, open positions, floating P/L, the worst floating P/L it has shown, time of its latest deal.
- Period: all history, this month, this week or today. Click "All" on the panel to switch. Net and max drawdown count the deals in the period; trades, win rate and profit factor count the trades closed in it, each with its full result (a trade opened last week and closed today counts today with its whole result).
- Result curve per EA for the period, each on its own scale, with the last value.
- Rows in alarm turn red.
- REPORT button: an HTML report (the table with a curve per EA) and a CSV of the closed trades, written to MQL5\Files\EAHealth.
Alarms
- Floating loss of one EA above an amount or a % of the balance (5% by default)
- Floating loss of all trades above a % of the balance (10% by default)
- Max drawdown of one EA in the period above an amount or a % of the balance
- An EA with open trades that has made no deal for a number of hours
- Algo Trading switched off; the terminal disconnected for a minute
- Each alarm fires once when its condition starts, and again only after it has cleared. Pop-up, sound, push notification and e-mail.
Counted correctly
- A trade belongs to the EA that opened it, even when you close it by hand.
- Partial closes are one trade; entry commissions are included; net = profit + swap + commission + fee.
- The worst floating P/L is kept in the terminal, so it survives a restart.
Inputs (main)
- Names - magic=name, comma separated
- Period at start - all history
- Alarms - floating 5% of balance per EA, 10% for all; drawdown, money limits and silence off (0)
- Algo Trading and connection alarms - on
- REPORT button, result curves - on; corners, font size, colours
Questions
- Does it work with any EA? Yes, with any EA that sets a magic number. Trades with magic 0 are shown as manual.
- Does it need the terminal open? Yes; alarms work while the terminal runs. A VPS keeps it running.
- Free version? EA Health Monitor shows the per-EA table for all history, without periods, curves, alarms or reports.

Past results do not predict future results. This indicator reports what your account did; it does not judge whether an EA will work.
