ZETEC Prop Manager — Prop Firm Risk Guard for MetaTrader 5
Daily loss, max drawdown and profit-target guard for prop challenges and funded accounts.
Most prop challenges end on a rule breach, not on a bad strategy. ZETEC Prop Manager watches your MT5 account equity in real time and enforces the limits you configure: daily loss, total loss, warning level and profit target. On breach it closes all positions and pending orders and blocks new entries until flat — retrying every 5 seconds, surviving terminal restarts and reloads.
It fits any evaluation with daily-loss and max-drawdown rules — FTMO Challenge, FundedNext Stellar, E8 Markets, Funding Pips, TopstepX or a personal funded account: you copy three numbers from your firm's dashboard and the guard does the rest.
Risk module
- Daily loss, total loss, warning and profit-target levels in account currency.
- Drawdown modes: Static (from account size), Trailing (from peak equity), EOD (from identified daily closes) — matching balance-based and equity-based prop rules.
- The effective daily floor never goes below the total-loss floor. When the total limit is tighter, both levels coincide.
- Cash-flow adjustment: deposits, withdrawals, credits and corrections move baselines through a reconciled cumulative ledger. Fees are treated as losses, not cash. While history synchronizes, entries pause and pending liquidations continue.
- Breach priority: target, total, daily, warning. Warning also closes and locks: it is an early action level, not a passive alert.
- Break-even and cash-based trailing act only on the chart symbol with the EA magic number and preserve existing take-profits.
Order entry
- Hotkeys place buy/sell stop, limit and market orders at mouse price, with stop-loss and take-profit validated in cash terms on the broker tick grid.
- Timeframe cycling and one-key drawing tools included. All hotkeys remappable.
- Hotkeys are blocked while a lock is active, out of session, or under a news window.
Session, news, Friday
- Session filter blocks entries outside configured server-time hours. Protection stays armed outside the session.
- News filter (default OFF) uses the native MT5 calendar, acts on held symbols through event plus 60 seconds, and survives reloads. With filtering enabled, unavailable calendar data blocks new entries. Calendar functions do not work in the Strategy Tester: test news behavior on a demo account.
- Friday close (default OFF) flattens before the weekend and retries until flat across reloads.
Visuals
- Live panel with daily P/L, distances, news and Friday status.
- Account levels projected to chart prices; N/A with a reason where no crossing price exists.
What it does NOT do
- No signals, no profit guarantees, no backtests presented as real results.
- It cannot prevent slippage, gaps, rejected orders, downtime, or a firm changing its rules. Always verify your dashboard numbers and test on demo first.
