Fractal7 Gold Dual (Breakout + Pullback)
Fractal7 Gold Dual is a fully automated Expert Advisor for Gold (XAUUSD) on the H4 chart. It combines two complementary strategies in one EA:
• BREAKOUT: the Fractal7 Gold EA strategy, entering when price breaks the fractal structure in the trend direction.
• PULLBACK: enters on the correction, when price pulls back to the moving averages or builds a tight consolidation and resumes the trend.
Both follow the same timeframe hierarchy:
W1 (weekly) = DIRECTION → buys or sells?
D1 (daily) = OPPORTUNITY → where is the entry chance?
H4 (4 hours) = TRIGGER → the exact entry moment
Each strategy has its own risk, trades one position at a time and can be switched on or off independently. Since one enters on breakouts and the other on pullbacks, they trade different moments of the trend.

STRATEGY 1 — BREAKOUT

✅ Weekly trend from the fractal structure (higher highs/lows for buys, lower for sells)
✅ Daily must not be against the weekly trend
✅ Trigger: H4 close beyond the last confirmed H4 fractal
✅ Market entry at the open of the next candle
✅ Stop beyond the opposite fractal, initial target 2R
✅ Minimum and maximum stop filter
✅ Breakeven with protection at 30% of the way to the target
✅ Fractal trailing stop
✅ Target extension near the TP, locking part of the profit to ride strong trends

STRATEGY 2 — PULLBACK

✅ Weekly direction (fractal structure, or weekly MA when the structure is sideways)
✅ Daily opportunity, two setups:
• Pullback to the 9, 21 or 50 EMA with drying volume
• Tight consolidation (narrow box, shrinking candles, low volume)
✅ H4 triggers: hammer, force candle, previous candle break, inside bar and box breakout
✅ Stop order at the trigger candle high/low, valid for 3 candles
✅ Stop at the trigger candle, with a maximum stop limit by ATR
✅ 50% partial at 2R with stop to breakeven, final target at 3R
✅ Configurable breakeven

REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Symbol: XAUUSD | Timeframe: H4
• HEDGE account to run both strategies together. On a Netting account, enable only one strategy.
• Recommended deposit: from 10,000 USD (or equivalent) so the real risk stays close to the setting. On smaller accounts the Breakout uses the minimum lot (0.01) and the real risk per trade is higher than configured.
• VPS recommended (trades stay open for several days)
• Backtesting: use "Every tick based on real ticks" and at least 12 months of data. Without visual mode the panel is turned off automatically and the test runs faster.
• Test on a demo account before trading live.
