Elvarion Forex
Elvarion Forex is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for personal-account trading. It runs inside MT5 using broker data, without a DLL, Python service or separate data subscription.
Trading approach
Six engines across five currency pairs: AUDJPY, USDCHF, AUDUSD, NZDUSD and USDJPY. The portfolio combines trend pullbacks, returns inside volatility bands, stochastic reversals, failed breakouts and compression breakouts. Signals use completed H1, H4 and H12 bars reconstructed from M15 data.
Position management
Each entry uses a protective stop and a target defined from volatility. Time-based exits close trades after the configured holding period or intraday cutoff, subject to the market being open. Trades may last intraday or a few days; the longest programmed holding period is 72 hours. Market closures and unavailable quotes can delay execution. There is no grid, martingale or partial-profit sizing in the supplied configuration. Optional confirmed break-even is available in the inputs and disabled by default.
Sizing and exposure
Choose percentage-of-equity risk or fixed lots. Initial settings are 0.5% per accepted entry or 0.10 fixed lots, depending on the selected mode. Broker volume steps, margin and minimum-volume requirements apply. One portfolio position is allowed per instrument, with up to three concurrent positions by default. Each product manages its own exposure; running several products does not create an account-wide risk manager.
Economic calendar
An optional MT5 high-impact calendar filter can block new entries around relevant currency announcements. It is OFF by default. Default windows are 30 minutes before and 15 minutes after, both adjustable. Existing positions are not closed because of news. When enabled, unavailable calendar data blocks new entries by default. The native calendar option is for live/demo terminal operation and cannot be enabled in this version of the Strategy Tester; historical calendar effects are not simulated.
Setup
Attach one instance to a chart, preferably M15. Internal signal timeframes are fixed independently of the chart timeframe. Your broker must supply every portfolio instrument and sufficient M15 history; allow at least 120,000 chart bars. Symbol suffixes and common aliases are resolved automatically, with manual symbol mapping available. Historical server-time offsets for unrecognized brokers need to be checked. Keep MT5 or a VPS running for break-even and time-based exits. Do not run two versions of the same portfolio simultaneously. On netting accounts, avoid other systems or manual positions on the same instruments.
Backtest information
The accompanying curve is an original MT5 historical backtest of the selected strategy configuration, using VantageMarkets-Demo data from 2023-01-01 to 2026-09-23 (end exclusive), EUR 10,000 initial balance and 0.5% risk per entry. The long-period model is 1-minute OHLC, not a complete real-tick test. Calendar filtering is OFF. Parameters were selected using this period, so these are in-sample historical results, not live results. The commercial build retains the tested strategy configuration; subsequent technical checks used a shorter period. Broker data, spreads, commissions, swaps and execution can produce different results.
Risk and support
Losses and drawdowns are possible. Past and simulated results do not guarantee future performance. Test the Market demo with your own broker and risk settings before purchasing. Support is provided through MQL5 messages and product comments.
