Bull Bearer AI is a trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5.
It looks for alignment between trend direction and momentum before opening a trade, then manages risk with ATR-based stops and position sizing.
Strategy logic
- EMA trend structure — Fast EMA vs Slow EMA defines direction
- ADX filter — only trades when trend strength is present (default ADX ≥ 18)
- Directional confirmation — +DI / –DI must agree with the trade side
- Candle confirmation — signal bar must close in the trade direction, beyond the Fast EMA
- RSI filter — avoids buying extreme overbought or selling extreme oversold
Trades are evaluated on closed bars only (no intra-bar spam).
Risk & trade management
- ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit (defaults: SL = ATR × 2.0, TP = ATR × 3.0)
- Fixed SL/TP fallback if ATR is unavailable
- Risk-based lot sizing (% of equity) or fixed lots
- Maximum open positions limit
- Daily loss limit and maximum trades per day
- Spread filter
- Optional trading-hours filter

General

| InpMagicNumber | Unique ID stamped on this EA’s orders. Use different numbers on different charts (e.g. M15 vs H1) so each instance tracks only its own trades. |

| InpMaxPositions | Max open positions this EA may have on this symbol at once. 1 = one trade at a time; 2 = up to two. |
| InpSlippage | Max acceptable slippage in points when a market order is filled. Higher = more tolerant in fast markets. |
Risk
| Input | Meaning |

| InpRiskPercent | Risk per trade as % of account equity. Example: 0.5 ≈ risk about 0.5% of equity if the stop is hit. Used when Fixed Lots = 0. |
| InpFixedLots | Fixed lot size. 0.0 = use risk % instead. Any value > 0 ignores risk % and always trades that size. |
| InpMaxLot | Hard ceiling on lot size (safety cap). |
| InpMinLot | Hard floor on lot size (won’t go below this). |
| InpMaxDailyLossPct | If today’s loss from starting equity reaches this % (e.g. 3.0 ), the EA stops opening new trades for the rest of the day. 0 = off. |
| InpMaxDailyTrades | Max new trades per day. 0 = unlimited. |
Stops

Strategy

Bull Bearer AI is built for **selective trend entries**, not high-frequency trading. It prefers fewer, clearer setups over constant activity. Always validate on your broker’s demo data before using real funds.
