Gold Apex – XAUUSD Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Gold Apex is an automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for trading XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5.
The strategy is designed around short-term gold price movement and directional market bias. Gold Apex looks for qualifying market conditions before entering trades and then manages those positions automatically using predefined risk and profit-management rules.
The EA has been designed to provide a balance between active trading and controlled trade management, while still giving the user access to the important parameters through the EA inputs.
Live Trading Signal
Gold Apex is currently running on a live trading account using aggressive settings, allowing potential buyers to monitor real trading activity and performance over time.
Current live signal:
Gold Apex V2 – Live Signal
Please note: the current signal uses aggressive risk settings and should not be considered the recommended configuration for every account size.
A new lower-risk live signal is planned for next week, using more conservative settings designed to demonstrate how Gold Apex can be configured for smaller trading accounts and lower overall exposure.
Past or current performance does not guarantee future results. Always choose settings appropriate for your own account size and risk tolerance.

Partial Profit Management
Gold Apex includes an integrated partial close system.
When enabled, the EA can close part of an open position after the trade reaches the configured profit level while allowing the remaining portion of the position to continue running.
This gives users the option of securing part of a profitable position while maintaining exposure if the market continues moving in the expected direction.
Partial closing can be enabled or disabled directly from the EA inputs.
Please note that partial closing depends on the trade volume and the broker's minimum lot size and volume step. Very small positions may not be divisible into smaller valid trade volumes.
Trade Management
Gold Apex manages trades automatically after entry.
Depending on the selected settings, this can include:
Stop Loss – Defines the maximum planned distance for an individual position.
Take Profit – Provides a predefined profit objective.
Break Even – Allows the EA to protect qualifying profitable positions by adjusting the Stop Loss.
Trailing Management – Allows profitable positions to continue running while progressively protecting accumulated profit.
Partial Close – Allows a percentage of a qualifying position to be secured while leaving the remaining volume active.
These systems are designed to work together as part of the EA's overall position-management logic.
Position Sizing
The default configuration uses a 0.02 lot starting size.
Users should select a position size appropriate for their account balance, leverage, broker conditions and personal risk tolerance.
Gold Apex can open multiple positions when several qualifying setups occur. Because of this, the total exposure of all simultaneously open positions should be considered when choosing a lot size.
A larger lot size can substantially increase both potential profit and potential drawdown.

Important Information About Broker Conditions
Execution results can differ between brokers.
Spread, commission, liquidity, execution speed and slippage can all affect the performance of short-term automated strategies. This is particularly important during periods of rapid Gold price movement.
Users are encouraged to test Gold Apex on their own broker using the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and/or a demo account before using it on a live account.
Backtesting and Live Performance
Historical testing can be useful for understanding how the strategy behaved under previous market conditions, but historical results do not guarantee future performance.
Results can change depending on:
- Broker
- Spread
- Commission
- Slippage
- Account leverage
- Deposit size
- Lot size
- XAUUSD contract specifications
- Market volatility
For this reason, users should evaluate both historical testing and forward/live results when assessing the EA.
Risk Warning
Gold trading can experience periods of very high volatility. Automated trading does not remove trading risk.
Gold Apex can experience losing trades and drawdowns, and there is no guarantee of profitability. Users should select an appropriate account size and lot size for their own risk tolerance.
Past performance and backtesting results do not guarantee future results.
