VELOX PULSE is an automated Expert Advisor designed specifically for trading XAUUSD (Gold) on the M5 (5-minute) timeframe in MetaTrader 5. The system monitors market structure around key price levels and applies multiple confirmation filters before opening a position. It focuses on structured trade management rather than high-frequency trading.
The internal signal logic, level-detection method, and filter weighting of VELOX PULSE are proprietary and are not disclosed publicly. Only the user-facing configuration parameters are documented in this description.

Operation: VELOX PULSE continuously monitors the market on the selected symbol and timeframe. When breakout conditions are detected around key levels and all confirmation filters pass, the system calculates entry, stop-loss, and take-profit levels based on your chosen settings. Trades are executed automatically, and open positions are managed by the fast trailing stop engine and the dual-target / break-even logic.
Input Parameters — Full Reference:
1. Breakout Finder Engine
| Pivot Detection Period | Sensitivity of pivot-level detection. Lower values detect more levels; higher values detect only stronger levels. |
| Max Breakout Lookback | Maximum number of historical bars scanned for relevant levels. |
| Threshold Rate % | Channel-width tolerance used when grouping nearby levels. Range: 1.0 – 10.0%. |
| Minimum Number of Tests | Minimum touches required at a level before it is considered valid. Range: 1 – 5. |
2. Fast Trailing Stop Engine
| Enable Fast Trailing Stop | Turns the tick-level trailing stop engine on or off. |
| Trailing Method | Fixed Pips: constant distance. Dynamic ATR: distance adapts to volatility. |
| Activation Profit (Pips) | Profit in pips required before trailing begins. |
| Trailing Distance (Pips) | Distance kept between price and the trailing stop (Fixed Pips mode). |

3. Target Multipliers & Stop Loss

4. Money & Lot Management

6. Anti Fake-Breakout Filter

| Break Buffer = ATR × this | Buffer size as a multiple of ATR. Higher values = fewer but potentially cleaner entries. |
| Reject Candles With Large Rejection Wick | Skips signals when the breakout candle shows a large opposite-side wick. |
| Max Opposite-Wick / Range Ratio | Maximum allowed wick-to-range ratio (0.0 – 1.0). |
| Require 1-Bar Retest Hold Before Entry | Waits for the level to hold after the break before entering. Fewer, later, but potentially safer entries. |
7. Time & Session Filter
| Enable Trading Hours Filter | Restricts new entries to a defined hour window (broker/server time). |
| Start Hour / End Hour | Trading window boundaries (0–23). End hour is exclusive. |
| Skip Trading At Start Of Week | Avoids the first hours after Monday open (gaps / low liquidity). |
| Hours To Skip After Monday Open | Number of hours to skip after the Monday server-time open. |
| Avoid New Entries Late Friday | Blocks new entries near the weekend to reduce gap risk. |
| No New Trades After This Hour On Friday | Cutoff hour for Friday entries. |
8. General Settings & Dashboard
| Max Allowed Spread (Points) | No new entries are opened if the current spread exceeds this value. Important for Gold — use a low-spread broker. |
| Magic Number | Unique identifier for this EA's orders. Change it if running multiple EAs on the same account. |
