CrossConfirm Pro is a fully automated trend-breakout Expert Advisor built around a two-stage confirmation engine that combines a three-tier EMA trend filter with a fast-reacting MACD double-cross trigger. Instead of entering on a single indicator signal, CrossConfirm Pro waits for the market to prove itself twice before committing capital — first establishing directional bias, then confirming momentum has genuinely turned back in that direction before arming a breakout order. This two-step filtering process is designed to cut down on the false signals that plague single-indicator systems, particularly during choppy or low-conviction price action.
The trend framework is built on three exponential moving averages — a fast, a mid, and a long-term EMA (default 21/50/250) — which must be correctly stacked in sequence to define a valid bullish or bearish market structure. Trades are only ever considered in the direction of this structure, so the EA never fights the dominant trend on the timeframe it is running on.
Within that trend structure, CrossConfirm Pro monitors a fast, sensitive MACD configuration (default 4/25/5) for a specific two-cross sequence. The first cross against the prevailing trend flags a potential pullback and records the highest (for longs) or lowest (for shorts) closing price reached before that pullback began — this becomes the breakout reference level. If the MACD histogram crosses back in the direction of the trend before losing its zero-line footing, the setup is confirmed and a pending Buy Stop or Sell Stop order is automatically placed at that recorded level. If price instead closes through the zero line against the setup, the setup is invalidated and the EA resets and waits for the next valid sequence — so it never chases a signal that has already failed.
Every order is placed as a genuine pending stop order at the exact breakout price, not a market order fired on a lagging confirmation candle, meaning entries occur only when price action itself validates the setup by trading through the level.
Risk is handled dynamically rather than with a fixed distance. The protective stop-loss for every trade is calculated from the fast EMA value at the moment the order is armed, anchoring risk to the market's own short-term equilibrium rather than an arbitrary pip count, and it remains fully visible and manually adjustable on the broker server side at any time. Take-profit is calculated as a configurable multiple of that initial risk (1.5R by default), giving a consistent, mathematically defined reward profile that can be widened or tightened per instrument and per trader's own risk appetite.
Position sizing is fully configurable across three modes: fixed lot size for traders who prefer manual control, a fixed monetary risk amount per trade, or a percentage-of-equity model that automatically recalculates lot size against current account equity and the live stop-loss distance for every single trade. A maximum simultaneous position limit prevents overexposure during periods of repeated signal generation.
A built-in trailing stop module can be enabled independently of the initial stop-loss, allowing profitable trades to be protected once a configurable profit threshold is reached, after which the stop is walked forward at a configurable distance behind price.
Trading activity can be restricted to specific weekdays and a specific intraday time window, using the trading terminal's own time, allowing the EA to be confined to the sessions where the chosen instrument historically performs best and avoiding illiquid or high-slippage periods such as rollover or off-session hours.
The EA includes a live on-chart control panel that displays, in real time, the current trend state, MACD phase relative to the zero line, the live status of any armed buy or sell setup, the number of open positions against the configured maximum, the number of pending orders, whether the current time falls inside the permitted trading session, and live account equity and balance — giving the trader full visibility into exactly why the EA is or is not trading at any given moment, without needing to open the strategy tester or inputs window.
