Prime HMA GoldGrid Pro – EMA + Hull MA Grid EA for Gold (MT5)
Prime HMA GoldGrid Pro enters only when two independent signals agree: a fast/slow EMA crossover, and the direction of the Hull Moving Average. Once in a trade, it manages the position as a small grid with a mild lot multiplier. All orders share one take profit set from the basket's average price, and a profit trailing locks in gains. A second, independent system is ready to trade the opposite direction as soon as the first basket closes.
Risk disclosure
Prime HMA GoldGrid Pro uses grid and lot-multiplication (martingale-type) techniques. Orders have no individual stop loss. Risk is controlled at account level by a max-loss exit (closes all orders when the floating loss reaches a set percentage of balance, default 30%) and a margin-level guard (no new orders if the margin level would fall below 300%). A strong one-directional move can still produce a loss up to the max-loss limit. Always test on a demo account first.
How it works
1. Entry signal
- EMA crossover: fast EMA (9) crosses slow EMA (21) on the EMA timeframe (default M5).
- Hull MA direction: Hull MA (55) on the chart timeframe must point the same way (rising for buy, falling for sell).
- A trade opens only when both agree:
- Buy: EMA cross up and Hull MA rising
- Sell: EMA cross down and Hull MA falling
2. Grid (System 1)
- If price moves against the position by at least the grid step (default 150 points), a new order in the same direction can be added.
- System 1 adds a grid order only when a new signal in the same direction confirms it, so the grid does not add blindly into a falling or rising market.
- Each grid order is the previous size × the multiplier (default 1.05, a mild increase).
3. Take profit at the average price
- Each order opens with a take profit (default 150 points).
- With two or more orders, the take profit of every order moves to the basket's volume-weighted average price ± the take-profit distance, so the whole basket closes together.
4. Profit trailing
- When basket profit reaches the minimum (default 5.0 in account currency), the EA tracks the peak profit.
- If profit pulls back from the peak, the whole basket is closed while it is still in profit.
5. System 2: the opposite signal
- While System 1 holds a position, an opposite signal arms System 2.
- Once System 1 has closed, System 2 opens in the new direction on the next confirmed signal and runs its own grid, take profit and trailing with a separate magic number.
6. Protection
- Max-loss exit: closes both systems when the combined floating loss reaches the set % of balance.
- Margin-level guard: skips new orders that would push the margin level below the limit.
- Max orders per system: optional cap on grid depth.

Requirements and notes
- Designed and preset for XAUUSD. The default settings are the tested preset and load automatically.
- Hedging account recommended. On a netting account only one system trades at a time and the opposite side is not opened while a position exists.
- The EA manages only its own orders (two magic numbers). Manual trades and other EAs are not touched.
- The EA restores its grid count after a terminal restart or timeframe change.
- Recommended: VPS and a low-spread gold broker.
- Past results, including backtests, do not guarantee future performance.
