KS Pivot Points Standard Pivot Points indicator for MetaTrader 5.

It offering multiple pivot calculation methods and the ability to display historical pivot levels directly on the chart.

Main Features

• Multiple Pivot Calculation Types (selectable via input):
  • Traditional

• Flexible Timeframe Anchoring (Pivots Timeframe):
  • Auto (smart detection based on current chart TF)
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly
• Historical Pivots: Shows up to 200 previous pivot periods (default 15) so you can see how price interacted with past support/resistance levels.
• Full Control Over Levels:
  • Toggle visibility for each level (P, R1, S1, R2, S2, R3, S3, R4, S4, R5, S5).
  • Individual colors for each level.
  • Show/hide level names and prices in labels.

Visual Elements

• Horizontal lines for each pivot level across the entire pivot period.
• Optional text labels showing level name and price (e.g., R1 (1.2345)).
• Labels can be placed on the left or right side.
• Smart label positioning to avoid overlap.
• Customizable line style (dotted, solid, etc.) and width.

How It Works

The indicator calculates pivot levels based on the High, Low, Close (and sometimes Open) of the previous completed period on the chosen anchor timeframe (Daily, Weekly, etc.).

For example:

• On a 15-minute chart with Daily anchor → it draws daily pivot levels.
• It automatically updates as new periods begin.
• Previous periods’ pivots remain visible on the chart for historical reference.

• Swing trading (Weekly/Monthly pivots)
• Identifying key support and resistance zones
• Backtesting price reaction to historical pivot levels
