Candles Size Stats

Candles Size Stats is a lightweight yet powerful indicator that measures and visualizes the size of every candle (High − Low range) in pips, giving you an instant statistical picture of price volatility on any symbol and timeframe.

What it does

The indicator plots each candle's full range as a color-coded histogram in a separate window. Bars are green when the current candle is larger than the previous one and dark green when it is smaller, making expansion and contraction immediately visible at a glance.

On top of the histogram it can overlay up to five statistical reference lines calculated over a rolling lookback window of your chosen length:

Average – the simple mean candle size over the last N candles
Median – the middle value of the sorted distribution, resistant to outliers
P90 / P70 / P50 (or any custom percentile) – the candle size below which X% of all candles fall, useful for defining "normal", "large", and "extreme" moves

On-chart Dashboard

An optional floating dashboard displays the most relevant statistics for the latest closed bar in real time:

Average and Median over the selected period
Three configurable percentile levels
vs Avg % – how much the current candle deviates from the average, shown in green when above and blue when below

All dashboard colors, font size, and position are fully customizable through input parameters.
