Overview
TriParity AfterShock Catcher is an execution support indicator for the TriParity workflow in MetaTrader 5. It is designed to help the user turn a selected aftershock setup into a more structured trading decision with a defined entry, take profit, stop loss, and reference statistics.
In this product, aftershock refers to the temporary distortion, overshoot, or delayed convergence that may appear after parity correction flows across related instruments. This product is not triangular arbitrage execution. It is designed for discretionary trade planning and execution support after a setup has been identified.
Specialized focus
TriParity AfterShock Catcher is built around the temporary breakdown of triangular currency parity across three related instruments. This does not refer to executable triangular arbitrage. Instead, it refers to a statistical trading setup in which a temporary deviation from parity may be followed by partial or full convergence.
The product is designed to evaluate this type of parity distortion from a statistical perspective rather than treating it as a risk-free arbitrage condition. In other words, Catcher is not assuming that price must immediately return to equilibrium. It is designed to help the user assess whether a specific aftershock setup shows conditions that may justify a structured trade plan.
While many tools focus on one symbol at a time, Catcher focuses on the relationship between three related instruments and the temporary imbalance that may remain after parity adjustment flows, overshoot, or time-lag effects.
This gives the user a more structured way to work with parity-based mean reversion behavior using defined entry, take profit, stop loss, and supporting statistics.
Functions
Catcher helps the user organize a selected setup with a predefined trade structure. It provides visual support for entry planning, take profit and stop loss placement, and baseline statistics that can be reviewed before or during execution.
The product is intended to reduce hesitation and improve consistency by standardizing execution decisions. It is not designed to predict the market, and it does not assume that price will always revert in the same way.
A statistics panel is included as a reference tool. It can be used to review baseline reach rates for take profit levels and stop loss outcomes under the current logic. These statistics are intended as supporting context only. They are not a guarantee of future performance.
How it is used
TriParity AfterShock Catcher is designed to be used after a candidate setup has already been selected. A common workflow is:
- Review candidate conditions with a separate filtering tool such as Scanner.
- Check broader context if needed.
- Use Catcher to plan and manage the selected setup with a structured entry, take profit, stop loss, and statistics view.
Catcher can be used on its own, but it is generally more effective when the user arrives with a filtered candidate rather than starting from an unfiltered chart.
Notes
This product is an execution support and analytical tool only. It does not provide investment advice and does not guarantee any trading result.
Aftershock trading is not risk free. Market conditions can change quickly, and convergence may be delayed, incomplete, or absent. Output and usability depend on symbol availability, broker feed quality, spread conditions, execution environment, and current market behavior.
TriParity AfterShock Catcher is part of the TriParity product line. Related tools such as Scanner and LiveGAP are available separately.
