MT5 real FUTURES broker - page 2

Abhay Agarwal:

I have one issue with them, everyday couple of times I get negative correction of my balance and reason given is Synchronization. I have still not been able to understand and neither they have been able to explain at all why is there a need for synchronization resulting in negative correction.

There response is that MT5 does that and Metaquotes is responsible for that logic, but what is it ??? Most of the times I get back a positive correction in a lesser amount but on one occasion even that did not happen and the negative synchroniztion was of -$2900. That is a lot of money when I am putting all effort to be profitable.

I was told by AMP that is synchronization with CQG database and mainly was MT5 way of connecting. Therefore I stop using MT5 even when I was very excited since I also trade Fx using MT4, so I´ve moved to Multicharts for futures trading and even considering experimenting with Tradestation in order to compare them.

I get that synchronization also from Amp Futures.  It is to deduct all the incurred commissions at the end of the day.

I see nothing fishy about it.

I currently like the speed of their MT5 platform.  I am subscribed to CQG datafeed.  It is very fast.  It does not choke during those high volatility moments when the ES goes up and down 8 ticks in a matter of seconds.

I could capture the time and sales tick info without missing anything.  I just don’t load it up with too many indicators.  Too many indicators slow down my intel I7 6-core desktop.

I just wish that AMP Futures provide experienced MT5 expert support.

The syncchronization that happens (native to amp futures) is because they cannot remove commissions and fees in real time from your acct. So they do it end of trading day and remove the commissions and fees..I have not seen anything more taken out of my futures acct other than these fees. When they do this, it is under the synchronization heading. As for the $2900, u mite have hit a margin call? This large amount wouldn't be with MT5 or metaqoutes, this would be specifically Amp futures broker. I'd double check

As others have mentioned, AMP Futures fits the criteria of a "Real Futures" broker that offers MT5.

Through Amp you can trade Futures on the various exchanges, vs. trading CFD Futures through most Forex brokers.

MQL5.COMMUNITY PAYMENT SYSTEM

Internal payment system was initially created in MQL5.community for payment of fees to authors of Articles. But the community's life does not stay still, and plenty of services, useful for traders and implying commodity-money relations between two parties, has emerged on the web-site since the launch of the payment system:

  • Market — A store of applications written in MQL4 and MQL5 languages.
  • Signals — Selling trade signals at a subscription fee with monitoring trade results.
  • Virtual Hosting — A native solution for twenty 24/7 failure-free operation of your MetaTrader trading terminals.
  • Freelance — A meeting point for traders and MQL4/MQL5 developers.
  • MQL5 Cloud Network — Buying and selling free computational power of Strategy Tester agents to organize distributed computing.

The most popular payment systems WebMoney and PayPal are integrated for deposit and withdrawal. U.S. dollars are used as the currency unit. Eventually we implemented other ways of depositing to MQL5.community account: these are common plastic cards (CommerceGate), handy and rapid system not requiring additional confirmation (Neteller), and a solution oriented towards users from China (Netbanx).

AMP Global announced continuous data for the following futures products on MT5.  This is wonderful.  IT IS FREE!  This is a very expensive data and they offer it only on weekends.
Emini S&P goes back to 1997.

I've tried accessing emini S&P today and all I've got is continuous tick data from 2017September to current.
So maybe the entire data would be available tomorrow.

Here is a list of all available Markets with Historical Continuous using AMP Global's MetaTrader 5 (MT5)
