One of the main problems that one has to face when developing an Expert Advisor is optimization. Developers often have limited options when it comes to optimization, such as relying on quotes from a well-known broker with TDS 2, which often leads to unreliable results when trading in real time, since the spreads of past years are much smaller than what we are now. offered by almost all brokers. Another option is to optimize for short periods of work with well-known brokers, however, this may lead to fitting the parameters of the adviser to the history and its work will be relevant only for a short period of time and only for one particular broker. Therefore, when developing, I decided to use my unique approach.

Strategy:

Golden Dream is a system that uses standard deviations and a personal indicator to determine the trend, which I have been perfecting over the past two years. I used a special optimization and entry point correction method that combines quotes from five different brokers with a moving optimization procedure. This approach completely eliminates the story-fitting factor and makes Golden Dream more adaptable to different circumstances. The multiplied spread in the past time during optimization allowed me to avoid self-deception when choosing the sets I needed. When choosing the parameters, I gave more importance to the profitability indicator and the recovery rate than to the profit and drawdown.

Golden Dream adheres to responsible trading practices, staying away from neural networks, martingale, averaging and other methods that can lead to losses . This EA is capable of trading 8 currency pairs on the M5 timeframe: XAUUSD, XAUEUR, XAUAUD.
