Trade Journal and Mistake Analyzer turns your MT5 account history into a structured journal and highlights trades that broke your own rules. On a live chart it only reads account data — it never sends trading requests.

Key features

Summary: net P/L (including commission, swap and fees), win rate, profit factor, expectancy, streaks and closed-result drawdown.
Trades grouped by position cycle, including partial exits; netting reversals start a new cycle.
Breakdown by available groups (symbol, direction, time and more).
Mistake flags based on your rules: risk above plan, trades without a stop loss, too many entries per day, revenge trades (re-entry after a loss within N minutes or with increased volume), trading outside your hours, trading around high-impact news, early exits.
Notes per trade: setup, emotion and free text, saved locally per account.
Closed-result curve plus estimated intratrade equity and MAE/MFE from M1 data.
CSV export of trades, metrics and equity estimate (MQL5/Files/TJ).

How it works

Attach the EA to any chart, set the history depth and an optional magic filter, and allow history to synchronize. Use the Summary, Breakdown, Mistakes and Trades tabs to review. In the Strategy Tester only, a fixed-seed demonstration opens small trades to populate the journal; this demonstration is not a trading strategy.

Back up the notes file before moving to another computer.
