Range Breakout Grid ATR

- Version: 2.6

Range Breakout Grid ATR is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that provides automated range breakout trading and manual volatility-based trade execution.
The Expert Advisor has two separate trading modes: Automatic and Manual. Each mode has its own trading parameters and Magic Number.
Automatic Trading
The Automatic mode calculates a price range between a user-defined start time and end time. After the range is established, the Expert Advisor monitors the market for a breakout beyond the range boundary and the configured breakout padding.
The user can select a single-position breakout or a multi-order directional ladder.
Automatic trading settings include:
-
Range start and end time
-
Breakout padding
-
Average True Range period
-
Number of orders
-
Lot size per order
-
Grid length based on Average True Range
-
Take Profit based on Average True Range
-
Stop Loss based on Average True Range
-
Rollover closing
-
Stop Loss order cancellation threshold
-
Magic Number
Setting Take Profit or Stop Loss to 0 disables the corresponding price-based exit.
When rollover closing is enabled, remaining Automatic positions and pending orders are closed or cancelled at the configured rollover time.
Manual Trading
Manual mode allows the user to open directional trades without waiting for an Automatic range breakout.
The chart provides controls for:
-
Buy Grid
-
Sell Grid
-
Close Automatic
-
Close Manual
-
Close All
Manual mode has separate settings for Average True Range period, number of orders, lot size, grid length, Take Profit, Stop Loss, Stop Loss order cancellation threshold and Magic Number.
An order count of 1 opens a single position. Higher values create a directional ladder over the configured grid length.
The user can open more than one Manual ladder.
Stop Loss Order Cancellation
Automatic and Manual modes have separate Stop Loss order cancellation settings.
When the configured number of Stop Loss events is reached, the Expert Advisor cancels the remaining pending orders belonging to that mode.
Setting the value to 0 disables this function.
Existing open positions continue to use their configured exit conditions.
Volatility-Based Trade Distances
Grid length, Take Profit and Stop Loss can be calculated as multiples of the H1 Average True Range.
Automatic and Manual modes have independent Average True Range settings.
