Trade Heat Recorder MT5 is a read-only trade analytics utility designed to record what happens inside your positions while they are open.
It prospectively tracks live positions and measures Maximum Adverse Excursion (MAE), Maximum Favorable Excursion (MFE), profit giveback from the best point reached, net result, capture efficiency and other execution-quality information.
The tool distinguishes between positions observed live from their opening and positions recovered after the recorder was started or restarted, so historical limitations are clearly identified instead of reconstructed as if they had been observed in real time.
Main features:
- Live MAE and MFE tracking
- Profit giveback / From Peak measurement
- Net P/L monitoring
- Capture efficiency
- R-based information when sufficient initial-risk data is available
- LIVE and RECOVERED quality labels
- Detection of management events and discipline flags
- Recent closed-trade dashboard
- Local CSV export
- Position and Magic Number filtering
- Persistent state across terminal restarts
- Read-only operation
Trade Heat Recorder never opens, modifies or closes trades.
It is designed for traders who want objective data about how their positions behave between entry and exit and who want to analyze whether they cut winners too early, tolerate excessive adverse excursion or give back too much open profit.
No DLL, WebRequest, external API or server is required.
