Prime X

Prime X is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed exclusively for trading XAUUSD (Gold) on the H1 timeframe. It combines multi-indicator technical analysis with a structured risk management framework.

How It Works

Prime X uses a signal scoring engine that requires a minimum of 4 out of 5 technical indicators to confirm simultaneously before opening any position. This approach is designed to reduce low-quality entries and filter out noise in ranging market conditions.

Entry signals are generated based on trend alignment across multiple timeframes (M15, H1, H4, W1) using EMA crossovers, confirmed by ADX for trend strength, RSI for momentum filtering, MACD for directional momentum, and ATR for dynamic Stop Loss and Take Profit calculation.

Risk Management

The EA includes a unified capital protection system operating on multiple levels. A Force Close mechanism automatically closes all open positions when equity drawdown from the daily opening balance reaches the defined threshold. A secondary Daily Loss limit halts new entries before that threshold is reached. A Heavy Loss counter tracks significant single-trade losses and stops trading if the daily limit is exceeded. All protection levels reference the same daily starting balance to ensure measurement consistency.

A Smart Recovery system reduces lot size by 50% following a loss and restores it progressively after a defined number of winning trades.

Position Management

Stop Loss and Take Profit levels are calculated dynamically using ATR, adapting to current market volatility. A 4-stage trailing stop progressively moves the stop loss to break-even, then locks profits in stages as the trade advances. Add-On trades can be opened automatically when an existing position reaches a defined profit threshold, subject to overall position limits.

Dynamic Lot Sizing

Lot size scales automatically across five balance-based stages, increasing as the account grows and reverting to the previous stage if balance declines.

Filters

The EA applies nine entry filters: multi-timeframe trend alignment, weekly trend direction, economic news pause, session quality (London Open, London/NY Overlap, NY Afternoon), custom daily schedule, spread limit, sideways market detection, liquidity volume, and candle body strength.
