Hi Steve, Thank you for developing this indicator—it's a really great tool. I did want to share a quick observation, though. On occasion, while waiting for a signal, the indicator triggers a sudden setup or changes without notification. At times, the update is delayed by several bars, by which point the price has already reached break-even or hit the trailing stop line. Could you clarify the difference between this free version and the premium version? Specifically, does the premium version eliminate these delayed setups? I'd appreciate it if you could look into this whenever you have a moment. Thanks again for your work!

Hi Giomar, Thank you for your honest feedback. I take every review seriously, especially from traders who are still early in their journey, because that is where the most important questions come up. Regarding your question about the timeframe: the internal trend filter runs on a fixed higher timeframe. Because of that, it works as intended on M1 to M15, and it is most stable on M5 and M15. On H1 and H4, the filter sits below the signal timeframe and loses its function. If you tested on those timeframes, that is the most likely explanation. Even more important is how the lines are meant to be used. They are not fixed stops to set and forget, but a sequence: the entry is close, the stop-loss is close, and the take-profit is deliberately far away. It marks the end of a complete trend move, not a daily target. If you place entry, SL and TP exactly as drawn and then simply wait, the stop will almost always be hit first. The intended approach is to enter at the line, move your stop to break-even once the breakeven line is reached, trail with the displayed distance from the trailing line onward, and exit when the signal changes. The take-profit level is a bonus when a trend runs all the way. If you are using a version older than 4.0, please download the update. It fixes an issue where signals could appear delayed or differ after a timeframe change. For exactly these situations, there is the discussion section on this product page. I respond there at any time, and with a screenshot we can usually clear up within minutes what happened on your chart. Hi Mariobros78, thank you for this observation. You described the issue exactly right, and your report helped us track it down. What you noticed was a real bug: the internal trend filter calculated slightly differently while the indicator was running live than after a full restart. Closing and reopening MetaTrader forced a complete recalculation, which is why the trend change only appeared after the restart. This was fixed in version 4.0, released on August 1, 2026, shortly after your review. The filter now uses the same full history in both cases, so trend changes appear live on the chart without restarting MetaTrader. Version 4.0 also fixes duplicate signals after a timeframe change. To update, open the Market section directly in your MetaTrader 5 terminal (not via the website) and install the update for RangeXpert there. If anything still behaves unexpectedly after the update, please post a screenshot in the discussion section and I will look into it right away.
