RiskDeck is a trade manager and risk manager for MetaTrader 5: set your risk and your stop, press once, and it sizes the lot, manages the trade and checks it against the daily, weekly and monthly loss limits you set. The lot counts the commission you enter. Then it can move your stop to break-even, take partial closes and trail, while your loss limits count every position - including the ones you opened from your phone or by another Expert Advisor.
Quick Start · How to try it in the Strategy Tester
One press from plan to order
- Risk as a percent, an amount in your account currency, or a fixed lot. The lot comes from your risk and your stop.
- The button shows your risk to the stop before you press it: CONFIRM BUY · $100.00, with the commission you enter. Swap and slippage come on top.
- Drag the stop and target lines on the chart, or type them. Market and pending orders from the same panel.
- No tabs and no pop-ups on the way to an order. At rest the panel shows the pair, two buttons, your day and your open risk.
Your position, managed
- Auto break-even at a threshold in R (1R is the amount you risk on the trade): the stop moves to entry plus your commission.
- Up to 3 partial closes by R or by pips, and a trailing stop by R or by points.
- ADOPT takes over a position you opened by hand.
- Your result in R counts swap and commission.
Loss limits you set
- You choose how strict they are. Watch only tells you. Guard, the default, refuses the trades that could end the account and warns first on the rest. Hold refuses at every limit.
- Daily, weekly and monthly loss, max loss, open loss, per-symbol loss, trades a day, positions at once, a pause after a loss, a risk limit for one currency across all your symbols, and trading hours you set.
- Room before the trade. With Guard or Hold, RiskDeck checks where your account would end if every stop were hit and refuses a trade that doesn't fit - before it happens - with NO ROOM and what to do.
- YOUR LINES shows how far you are from each limit.
- It never closes your positions unless you switch on Close all on breach.
Limits count from your stops: a price gap or slippage can take a loss past a limit.
A second look before a risky trade
Second Brain watches nine things you can tune or switch off one by one, such as a loss a moment ago, a losing streak, risk rising straight after a loss or a spread that is a large part of your stop. When one applies, the first press shows the reason above the button and the second press sends the trade. News: near a high- or medium-impact event in MetaTrader's economic calendar, CONFIRM asks a second time and names the event. Neither ever refuses, and news needs a running terminal.
Similar trades: when you click to place a trade, a line under CONFIRM shows how your own closed trades on the same symbol and in the same direction went over the last year: how many, the win rate and the average R. It is read from your account history in the terminal, sends nothing anywhere and never blocks a trade. You can switch it off in Settings.
Checks that never switch off
Margin, the broker's minimum stop distance and lot steps, a stop on the wrong side, an order sent twice and a position left without a stop. Every refusal says why and what to do. Your stop only ever moves toward the price, an unknown risk shows as UNKNOWN, never $0.00, and when the connection drops, automation waits while your stops stay on the server. Push to your phone or e-mail, if you switch it on, when a limit is crossed, break-even is set or a position is closed, while the terminal is running. No DLLs and no web requests. We test every version before it reaches the Market: version 2.0 went through more than 1,750 automated checks on MetaTrader 5 demo accounts. One of them makes sure a partial close at a level runs only once.
Prop challenges: your rules
No presets for prop firms, on purpose: firms change their terms, and only you know the current ones. You enter your rules as numbers and choose what they count from - balance or equity at reset, today's equity peak, starting capital, the highest end-of-day balance or the highest equity ever - and the hour your day resets.
Before you buy
- Not a robot. It doesn't analyse the market and doesn't trade on its own. No profit claims: we describe what the tool does.
- MetaTrader 5, hedging and netting accounts, any symbol your broker offers. The panel is in English. No mobile version.
- It starts live: every order waits for your CONFIRM. To practise, set Trade gateway to Simulated (F7).
- Try it in the Strategy Tester in visual mode: a ten-step tour shows a plan, a trade, a partial close and break-even. Your own limits, news and notifications need a live chart - rent it for three months to run it on your own broker and account.
- Support through MQL5 messages; we usually answer within one working day. Updates on the Market are free for buyers.
Recommended setup
- Start with Trade gateway set to Simulated (F7) and place a few trades to see the panel at work.
- Enter your commission, so the risk on the button matches your account.
- Set your loss limits for the day, week and month. If you trade a prop challenge, set them below your firm's limits: limits count from your stops, and a gap or slippage can go past them.
- Choose Guard or Hold, then switch to live trading.
What RiskDeck is not
- Not a robot and not a signal service. It doesn't analyse the market, doesn't open trades on its own and makes no profit claims.
- Not a guarantee. Limits count from your stops, so a price gap or slippage can take a loss past a limit. RiskDeck can't guarantee that you will never break a limit, at a prop firm or anywhere else.
- Not a copy of your prop firm's rules. There are no presets; you enter your firm's rules yourself and keep them up to date.
- Not on when MetaTrader is off. RiskDeck runs inside the terminal: when MetaTrader is closed, nothing is checked or managed. When the connection drops, automation waits while your stops stay on the server.
- Not shared between terminals. Two terminals logged in to the same account don't know about each other.
- Not a prediction. Similar trades shows your own history, not advice.
Questions
- Does it count trades I open from my phone or with another EA? Yes, the loss limits count every position on the account, once the terminal sees it. Break-even, partial closes and trailing run on trades RiskDeck sends or takes over with ADOPT.
- Will it close my positions at a limit? Only if you switch on Close all on breach. Otherwise it refuses or warns, depending on Watch, Guard or Hold.
- Can I try it first? Yes, in the Strategy Tester in visual mode (ten-step tour), or rent it for three months on your own account.
- Does it send my data anywhere? No DLLs and no web requests. Similar trades reads your account history inside the terminal.
- Are updates free? Yes. Updates on the Market are free for buyers.
Version history
- 2.0 (30 Oct 2026): Similar trades - a line under CONFIRM shows how your own closed trades on the same symbol and direction went over the last year. The stop distance is now measured from the same entry price the lot is calculated from. Close all on breach waits for the terminal's position list before closing. More
- 1.19 (29 Oct 2026): first version on the Market.
