How to Record a Trade Manually {please use full screen view to be able to see the whole panel}

  1. Attach the EA to an MT5 chart and open the journal panel.

  2. Click New to start a fresh journal entry.

  3. Enter the trade date and time, symbol, Buy/Sell direction, lot size, entry price, and exit price.

  4. Enter your planned Stop Loss and Take Profit amounts in dollars.

  5. Enter the actual profit or loss and select the trade outcome.

  6. Document your H4, M15, and M5 analysis.

  7. Record your trade reason, lessons learned, and any additional notes.

  8. Click Save / Update to save the entry.

  9. Use the history navigation controls to review saved trades, or edit a selected entry and save your changes.

Automatic Trade Capture

Click Capture MT5 Closed Trades to import eligible closed trades from your MT5 account history into the journal. Use the comparison section to review journal performance against MT5 closed-trade results.

Recommended for: Forex traders, gold traders, crypto CFD traders, discretionary traders, and algorithmic traders who want a structured trading journal within MT5.
