Selective XAUUSD Reversal Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Shadowz Gold Reversal is an automated Expert Advisor developed for XAUUSD trading on the M5 timeframe.
The system combines price structure, liquidity sweep behavior, RSI conditions, EMA confirmation and candle characteristics to identify potential short-term reversal opportunities.
The EA is designed to remain selective during normal market conditions while using additional adaptive entry layers as the trading session progresses.
TRADING LOGIC
The core reversal model evaluates several conditions before opening a position:
- Recent swing highs and swing lows
- Liquidity sweep behavior
- Candle reversal structure
- RSI reversal zones
- EMA 9 and EMA 20 confirmation
- Candle body strength
A BUY setup is considered when price shows rejection around a recent swing low together with supporting momentum and candle conditions.
A SELL setup uses the opposite structure around a recent swing high.
ADAPTIVE ENTRY SYSTEM
Shadowz Gold Reversal includes multiple entry levels.
The standard entry level uses the strictest reversal conditions.
Later adaptive levels gradually relax selected filters when market conditions allow additional opportunities.
A final catch-up layer can use candle direction, EMA alignment and RSI confirmation.
The adaptive system does not use random entries and does not force positions when its required conditions are not present.

The EA manages only one position at a time.
It does not use:
- Martingale
- Grid trading
- Position averaging
- Recovery lot multiplication
Volume, spread and available margin are checked before an order is submitted.
DAILY PROTECTION
The EA includes daily protection designed to reduce exposure during unfavorable market conditions.
Trading can stop for the current trading day when:
- The configured daily loss limit is reached
- The maximum consecutive loss limit is reached
Additional safety conditions restrict relaxed and catch-up entries after unfavorable trade sequences.
The daily state is reset for the next trading day.

Catch-up entries require additional spacing between entries.
INSTALLATION
1. Open an XAUUSD chart.
2. Set the timeframe to M5.
3. Attach Shadowz Gold Reversal to the chart.
4. Enable Algo Trading.
5. Use the default parameters as the reference configuration.
A VPS can be used when continuous MetaTrader operation is required.

The default monetary TP and SL settings were developed and tested using a USD-denominated trading account.
