DangerEA

Introduction to DangerEA DangerEA is a high-risk trend-following algorithmic trading system. It is designed for traders who understand that algorithmic trading involves significant risk and inevitable periods of drawdown. This system does not aim for a linear growth curve. Instead, it operates with a highly volatile risk-reward profile.

Strategy Overview The Expert Advisor uses a dynamic trend-filtering algorithm on the H1 timeframe to identify momentum. It implements strict risk management: every trade has a defined Stop Loss. The system does not use grid meshes and does not keep multiple floating losses open. It executes only one position at a time.

For loss management, the EA uses a non-linear mathematical progression model. This means position sizing adjusts based on the historical sequence of closed trades, aiming to recover previous drawdowns when a trend is successfully captured.

Backtest Statistics (Strategy Tester) Please note that the following data refers strictly to historical Strategy Tester simulations and does not guarantee future real trading results.

  • The EA was tested over a 3-year period, executing over 3,000 simulated trades to ensure a large statistical sample size.

  • During the historical test period, the system experienced losing streaks (e.g., up to 13 consecutive losses) with an observed relative drawdown of approximately 25%.

  • The strategy relies on capturing large market movements to offset historical drawdowns rather than maintaining a high win rate.

Key Features

  • Defined Risk: A Stop Loss and Take Profit are placed for every single trade.

  • Single Position Execution: Only one trade is open at a time (no grid, no hedging).

  • Trailing Stop Logic: Optional dynamic trailing algorithm to manage open positions.

  • On-Chart Dashboard: A graphical panel displaying the current market state, recovery levels, and real-time floating PnL.

Operational Requirements

  • Minimum Account Balance: A minimum of $300 is strictly required to safely trade 0.01 micro-lots, due to the volume expansion in the mathematical recovery sequence.

  • Timeframe: H1 (1-Hour).

  • Recommended Instruments: The strategy is designed for markets with high daily volatility (e.g., Indices, Gold, Cryptocurrencies). It is not recommended for low-volatility fiat currency pairs.

  • Account Considerations: Users must be prepared for extended periods of drawdown and use strict money management.
