Signal Logic
BUY Signal
A Buy signal is displayed when price crosses the EMA and the current closing price is higher than the previous closing price.
SELL Signal
A Sell signal is displayed when price crosses the EMA and the current closing price is lower than the previous closing price.
The indicator is intended to help traders visually identify momentum changes around the EMA. Signals should be combined with your own market analysis and risk management.
Indicator Lines
Blue Line — EMA
Displays the Exponential Moving Average calculated from the selected price source.
Red Line — Highest Close
Displays the highest closing price over the selected High/Low period.
Green Line — Lowest Close
Displays the lowest closing price over the selected High/Low period.
These levels provide additional visual information about recent price structure.
Input Parameters
EMA Length
Sets the calculation period of the Exponential Moving Average.
Default: 20
EMA Source
Selects the price source used for the EMA calculation.
Default: Close
High/Low Period
Number of bars used to calculate the Highest Close and Lowest Close levels.
Default: 8
Arrow Offset Points
Controls the distance between Buy/Sell arrows and the corresponding candle.
Default: 20 points
Show EMA
Enables or disables the EMA line.
Show High/Low
Enables or disables the Highest Close and Lowest Close lines.
Show Signals
Enables or disables Buy and Sell arrows.
How to Use
A green upward arrow indicates a potential Buy setup.
A red downward arrow indicates a potential Sell setup.
For scalping and intraday trading, traders can use the signals together with market structure, support and resistance, trend direction, volatility filters or their existing trading strategy.
