**Full description:**
Trend Momentum Signals is a signal indicator. It plots BUY / SELL arrows from two
trend-filtered patterns and draws the three EMAs so you can see the context behind
each signal. It does NOT place trades - it shows signals and alerts you to them.
Two signal types:
- CROSS - a fast/slow EMA crossover in the direction of the higher trend EMA, confirmed
by RSI. Catches trend initiations.
- BREAKOUT - a range-expansion break of the last N-bar high/low on an impulse bar
(bar range greater than a multiple of ATR), in the trend direction. Catches trend-day
breakouts the crossover can miss.
Features:
- Works on any symbol and timeframe (defaults tuned for 5-minute momentum trading).
- Three EMAs drawn for context (fast / slow / trend) - toggle on or off.
- RSI band filter for the cross signals; ATR impulse filter for the breakouts.
- Optional ATR "chop filter" to hide signals in low-volatility conditions.
- Popup / push alerts on each new signal (on bar close - closed-bar signals do not
repaint).
- Every parameter is adjustable (EMA lengths, RSI bands, ATR settings, breakout
length/multiplier).
Best suited to trending / momentum markets and index instruments, where the two
patterns were designed. Use it as a visual decision aid and alert tool alongside your
own analysis and risk management.
