Quantum Star Gold MT5
Quantum Star Gold MT5 is an Expert Advisor developed for automated Gold (XAUUSD) trading on MetaTrader 5.
The EA uses a multi-zone H1 breakout framework. Instead of relying on one breakout level, the system monitors six selectable trading zones and manages entries, pending orders, open positions and risk automatically.
The strategy is designed around H1 market structure while providing configurable controls for trading direction, position sizing, spread, sessions and trade management.
Trading Strategy
Quantum Star Gold uses six independently selectable H1 breakout zones:
Zone A1
Zone A2
Zone A3
Zone B1
Zone B2
Zone B3
Each zone evaluates its own breakout conditions and can be enabled or disabled separately.
This allows users to test different combinations of the six trading components without modifying the Expert Advisor.
Buy and Sell Control
Trading direction can be configured from the Inputs panel.

This can be useful when testing the strategy under different Gold market conditions.
Breakout and Fakeout Filtering
The EA includes configurable breakout filtering intended to reduce entries when price movement does not satisfy the required breakout conditions.

Position Sizing
Quantum Star Gold provides several methods for controlling trade volume.
Fixed Lot
Uses the specified lot size for new trades.
Risk-Based Lot
Position size is calculated using the selected risk configuration.
Balance / Equity Scaling
Lot size can scale according to account capital using the configurable amount represented by each 0.01 lot.
A margin-checking function is also included before trade requests are submitted.
Stop Loss and Trade Management
The EA includes integrated management for open positions.

These functions manage positions after entry according to the selected settings.
Spread Protection
Gold spreads can change considerably during different trading conditions.

Individual trading sessions can be enabled or disabled.

This allows users to select when the breakout strategy is permitted to open new trades.
News and Holiday Controls
Quantum Star Gold includes configurable event controls for supported news periods and USD holidays.
Users can configure restricted periods before and after selected events and control the handling of pending orders and open positions around these periods.
Manual GMT settings and automatic GMT detection are also available.
Account Protection
An optional Maximum Daily Drawdown setting provides an additional account-level risk control.
The function can be configured according to the available drawdown settings or disabled when it is not required.
Users should select drawdown and lot settings appropriate for their account size and risk tolerance.
Market Open and Close Controls
The EA includes controls designed for broker market transitions.

Weekend management
The purpose is to prevent new entries during selected market-transition periods.
Trading Dashboard
