OVERVIEW
QK Qiankun is a multi-timeframe Expert Advisor designed primarily for gold.
It does not rely on a single indicator or blindly chase price movements. Its decision process is built around four core elements:
Direction, location, timing, and a predefined risk boundary.
The EA evaluates M1, M5, M15, M30, and H1 market information, including trend structure, momentum, price location, Bollinger Band zones, support and resistance.
It first evaluates the broader market context and then waits for price to reach a meaningful area.
The core philosophy is:
Understand the market context first, then wait for price to reach a valuable location. Avoid entries in the middle of a range and avoid chasing price at an extended market extreme.
TRADING APPROACH
When the internal conditions identify a qualified range boundary or high/low area together with the required rejection or mean-reversion conditions, the EA may create a position group.
QK Qiankun uses a controlled staged-entry model:
- The first position establishes the trade group.
- Additional layers may be opened at configured price distances.
- The maximum total number of layers can be set from 1 to 4.
- The default maximum is 3 total positions.
- The initial and add-on lot sizes are configured separately.
- Each layer uses a fixed lot size.
- Lot sizes are not multiplied after a loss.
- All positions in the group use one common hard stop-loss determined by the initial trade plan.
- Once the maximum number of layers is reached, the EA will not continue adding positions.
The staged-entry mechanism is intended to manage entry-price dispersion inside a predefined trading zone.
It is not an unlimited grid and it is not a no-stop recovery system.
If price reaches the predefined group invalidation boundary, the common hard stop-loss ends the complete trade plan.

0.01
The add-on lot is a separate input. For the published recommended setup, keep it equal to the initial lot.

Keep all other strategy inputs at their EA defaults unless you have independently tested a different setup using your broker’s data.
TRADING SESSION AND BROKER TIME
The EA session inputs use broker-server time, not computer time and not the user’s local time.
In the tested EC Markets environment:
Broker-server time 09:00–20:00 corresponded approximately to Malaysia time 15:00–02:00 the next day.
This conversion is not universal.
Broker-server time zones and daylight-saving arrangements vary. Users must check their own broker-server time and adjust both session inputs when required.
The 09:00–20:00 server window is the recommended setting based on the original developer’s historical testing.
In that test environment, allowing the EA to search for entries throughout the entire day produced a weaker result than restricting new entries to the fixed 09:00–20:00 session.
This observation does not guarantee that the same session will outperform on every broker, historical period, spread, or execution environment.
POSITION SIZING AND RISK
The initial and add-on lot sizes are separate inputs.
For the published recommended setup:
Initial Lot Size = 0.01
Add-On Lot Size = 0.01
The additional layers use a fixed lot size. The EA does not automatically multiply the lot size after a loss.
The maximum configured group volume is not the same as a guaranteed maximum loss amount.
Actual risk depends on:
- Account equity
- Gold contract specifications
- Leverage
- Number of active layers
- Stop-loss distance
- Spread
- Commission
- Swap
- Slippage
- Market gaps
- Broker execution quality
IMPORTANT NOTICE
QK Qiankun is designed primarily for gold.
Symbol specifications, spreads, quote precision, minimum stop distance, contract size, liquidity, commission, swap, slippage and order execution vary between brokers.
Always test the EA using your broker’s historical data and on a demo account before considering live use.
This product is an automated trading tool. It does not guarantee profit.
Backtest and historical results do not predict future performance.
Use conservative position sizing and keep the common group hard stop-loss enabled.
