What is Kefren Corvus
Kefren Corvus combines three independent trading modes into a single Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold), sharing one unified risk, lot-sizing, news-filter and circuit-breaker system:
- Mode 1 — trend/breakout strategies with configurable volatility, ADX and H4-alignment filters.
- Mode 2 — a breakout system built around pending stop orders across multiple independent strategies.
- Mode 3 — a structure/swing engine built around pivot detection.
Run them independently or combined — every mode obeys the same lot cap, the same circuit breaker, and the same news filter, so the whole portfolio behaves consistently no matter which modes you enable.
Risk management that actually adapts to your account
Most gold EAs let you pick a risk percentage and stop there — which is exactly how a small account ends up with an oversized position after one lucky compounding streak. Kefren Corvus adds three extra layers on top:
- Balance-scaled lot cap. The max lot per order scales automatically with your current balance (lots per 1000 account-currency units), not a fixed number — so the position size a €50,000 account can safely take is never the position size a €500 account gets. Comes with Conservative / Normal / Relaxed presets, a Custom ratio, and an absolute hard ceiling on top as a last-resort safety net.
- Portfolio circuit breaker (optional). Automatically pause all three modes and cancel resting pending orders after a configurable number of losing trades within a configurable time window — a losing streak stops the system before it compounds, not after.
- News filter. Blocks new entries and cancels resting pending orders around high-impact USD releases (PPI/CPI), using MetaTrader's own native Economic Calendar in real trading — no external service required.
- Free-margin checks before every single order, across all three modes.

Recommended use
Start on a demo account with the default settings, get familiar with the dashboard and log output, and only then move to a live account with a balance and risk level you're comfortable with. Lot Protection and Circuit Breaker exist so you can dial risk up or down to match your own account size and tolerance — they are not "set and forget" defaults meant to fit everyone.
