Important: Gold Is an Expensive Asset
Gold is an expensive asset to trade. Even a 0.01 lot position in XAUUSD requires significant margin — and with gold at historic highs, that minimum lot size now represents a substantial exposure. This means that small accounts will face limitations in applying proper risk per trade, because 0.01 lots is the broker minimum and it already carries meaningful weight.
With $250, the EA will function — but precise risk calibration will be difficult. With $500+, you gain enough room for the risk management system to operate properly. With $1,000+, the adaptive position sizing can work at its full potential, scaling conviction-based sizing as designed.
