Using Sentinel™:
1) Enable Algo Trading (the toolbar button in MetaTrader 5) — Sentinel™ will not function unless it’s on.
2) Attach Sentinel™ to an unused chart — one that you're not actively trading on.
3) Set your desired equity threshold in the EA’s input settings.
4) In the “Common” tab of the EA settings, make sure “Allow Algo Trading” is checked.
5) Save templates of your charts if they are precious to you — Sentinel™ will close them if triggered.
6) Minimize Sentinel™'s chart, walk away — Sentinel™’s got you.
Latency Matters!
Sentinel™ is designed to react instantly when your equity drops below the defined threshold.
Its speed and reliability depend on how fast your terminal can communicate with your broker.
For best results, run Sentinel™ on a VPS with low latency to your broker’s server.
If your latency is 2ms, Sentinel™ reacts in 2ms.
If your latency is 300ms, Sentinel™ reacts in 300ms.
It's that simple.
