Live Testing reports

Please include the following information in your post:

#1 Timeframe

#2 Broker

#3 Settings file if any was used

#4 Real or Demo account?

#5 Version of Phoenix used

#6 Phoenix mode used

#7 The detailed trading report uploaded. (right click transaction history and save)

We use these to analyze how well Phoenix is working, and the actual trade history is sometimes more important to developers than the final result.

If anyone is able to collect previous detailed reports and paste them all here so we can compare them more easily, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

as promised to Hendrick here are statements for week 13/17 Nov. 2006.

They are 3 demo mini-accounts on IBFX starting with USD 500, one for each mode.

I have seen that IBFX demo is very, very similar to live account. When I do not have a pair on play on demo and live phoenix enters the same time and same price (difference no more than 1 or 2 pips) on live and demo.

As often said mode 3 made a fantastic work on last 2 weeks. I made many mistakes with my live accounts switching from mode 3 to mode 2 to mode 1 and to mode 3 again. In that way I made some bad trades also closed manually but when 2 days ago I put again mode 3 on live account and left it working my account started to gain again.

Anyway please watch statements and make your considerations.

Bye!

Raf

#7 Detailed report: zip containing 3 statements

-----------------

Installations

-----------------------

A) FBFX 5.6.3

B) FBFX 4Contest

C) IBFX 5.6.3

D) IBFX 4Contest

C and D were dropped mid week. D yielded no trades. C yielded reverse trades to A even though using same version with same settings (at least for the first 2 trades). Such oddity caused great concern. Seeing wierdness with IBFX, I decided to drop it. IBFX was a mini, FBFX was a standard account. Multiply IBFX gain/loss by 10x to get one-to-one P/L correlation.

Summary

--------------------

FBFX 5.6.3: 3 wins 1 loss, +$401.41 closed, -$144.24 open

FBFX P4Contest: 1 win 1 loss, -$646.20 closed, -$126.96 open

IBFX 5.6.3: 1 win 1 loss, -$55.30 closed, $0 open (multiply by 10x)

IBFX P4Contest: no trades placed

Note: The FBFX P4Contest trades correlate with the MQL4.com championship results over the same time period. Yes, there's slight price differences. But, entries are correlated.

Hope this analysis helps!

Bill

I'm sad that Hendrick is no more around but I understand very well. Good lock to you Hendrick and long life to Phoenix because this EA has very large potentiel.

I'm so happy to see everyone coming through so well! I need to post my own results as well so other people can see.

Billworld: that irregularity is my main concern. I am hoping that the consecutive trade filter will help filter reverse results. Since the indicators are based on the differences between values (moving average, etc), a small difference would yield a trade. The size of the values aren't checked, just their relative value. If the values aren't very strong one way or another, they may bounce back and forth quickly. A filter has been added in the 5.6.4 (you need to modify settings to activate it) to not trade on changing signals. Hopefully that will eliminate the kind of trade problems you saw.

mmmmm I am really concerned by your statement....why my demo and live account with same broker made absolutely better trades? It's really strange
