I tried it and found that it is the same as the Pepperstone MT5 candle timer I have been using for years.

The above comment is NOT a slur on this indicator or the author, I made the comment because it is true, the indicator is quite similar to the Pepperstone indicator, if this is correct, regardless of similarities, the value of the indicator to me is great, I could not be profitable and consistent with my trades. For people that trade (in my case 10min charts) low time frames the candle timer, is in my mind a must have indicator. For the ratings, if I download an indicator to look at, I might not keep it, hence I can not rate it as tried and accepted as good. My ratings were wrong, I go for middle of the road, I do not intend to say an indicator or service is bad on first impressions.

If I did not have the Pepperstone candle countdown as part of the supplied indicators, I would definitely use your indicator.

Hello my friend.. I think the issue is related to Linux Mint and has nothing to do with the indicator. I don't have much experience with Linux Mint, but here are a few possibilities: -System permissions : Some settings require administrator (Root) privileges to be changed.
-Desktop environment (such as Cinnamon, Mate, or KDE): Each environment has its own settings for managing colors and themes.
-Applications being used (such as Terminal or text editors): You may need to adjust the settings of these applications individually.
-Corrupted configuration files or incompatible installed themes . I wish you all the best
