PARABOLIC SAR PRO EA



Parabolic SAR Pro is an automated trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4. It combines the Parabolic Stop and Reverse indicator with a Moving Average trend filter and ATR-based trade management.

The strategy uses multiple conditions rather than relying solely on individual Parabolic SAR changes.

Trading Approach

Parabolic SAR is used to identify potential changes in price direction. The Moving Average provides an additional trend filter so that trade signals can be evaluated in relation to the broader market direction.

When the required conditions agree, the EA can execute a Buy or Sell position according to its configured rules.

Volatility-Based Trade Management

Stop Loss and Take Profit levels use ATR-based calculations. As recent volatility increases or decreases, the corresponding exit distances can adapt.

Using the Strategy

Parabolic SAR is primarily a trend-following indicator. It can produce frequent directional changes during sideways markets, which is one reason the EA incorporates an additional Moving Average filter.

Users should test different symbols, timeframes and parameter combinations rather than assuming one configuration will behave identically across all markets.

Risk Information

Indicator confirmation can filter some trading signals but cannot prevent false signals or losses. Parabolic SAR can react rapidly during ranging markets, while Moving Averages can respond slowly to sudden reversals.

ATR-based exits adjust to volatility but do not guarantee a particular risk-to-reward outcome or trading result. Test the EA in the MetaTrader 4 Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live deployment. Historical performance does not guarantee future results.
