GoldBuster EA is a multi-strategy Expert Advisor developed specifically for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5.

Instead of depending on a single entry method, GoldBuster brings together four independent trading strategies within one EA. Each strategy operates with its own signal logic, trade management and Magic Number, allowing different approaches to participate in suitable market conditions.

The objective is simple: trade XAUUSD systematically with predefined entry conditions, controlled risk and disciplined trade management.

Four Independent Trading Strategies

GoldBuster includes four strategy modules:

1. ZoneRunner17

Uses a combination of EMA-based trend direction, EMA slope analysis, RSI confirmation, pullback detection and Heiken Ashi candle changes to identify potential entries.

The strategy is designed to avoid entering when the EMA structure is considered too flat and waits for several conditions to agree before opening a position.

2. ZoneRunner Delayed

Uses ADX-based trend strength and directional analysis together with ATR-based stop-loss calculations.

After a valid setup is detected, the strategy can delay its entry for a specified number of candles and only proceed when price conditions remain favourable.

This helps prevent the EA from automatically chasing every initial signal.

3. ZoneRunner Old Delayed

Combines EMA trend analysis, RSI confirmation, ATR-based trade management and delayed-entry logic.

It provides another independent interpretation of market direction and pullback opportunities.

4. TrendPulse

Designed to identify momentum and trend continuation opportunities using EMA behaviour and ATR-based risk calculations.

TrendPulse includes its own configurable risk/reward, lot sizing, break-even and trade-management settings.

GoldBuster is not designed around aggressive Martingale or Grid recovery techniques. Losing trades are not automatically followed by progressively larger positions in an attempt to recover previous losses.

Risk Management

Risk management is an important part of GoldBuster.

Depending on the selected strategy and settings, the EA can calculate position size based on a percentage of account balance or use a predefined fixed lot size.

Stop Loss and Take Profit levels are calculated according to the individual strategy being used, with ATR-based protection available in several modules.

Break-even functionality can also move the Stop Loss toward or beyond the entry price after a trade reaches a configurable level of progress.

These features are intended to help manage risk, but they do not eliminate trading risk.

Broker and The5ers Testing Information

GoldBuster was developed and tested using a The5ers prop firm trading account.

The trading environment used during development operates on a broker server time of UTC+2 and UTC+3 during Daylight Saving Time (DST).

For results that are as close as possible to the development and testing environment, users may use The5ers or another broker whose MetaTrader 5 server follows the same UTC+2 / UTC+3 DST server-time schedule.

This is particularly relevant because several GoldBuster strategies use candle-based calculations, multi-timeframe analysis, EMA behaviour, delayed entries and other time-dependent conditions. Using a similar server-time structure helps ensure that trading candles open and close at times that are comparable to those used during development and testing.

However, using the same server time does not guarantee identical results.

Because XAUUSD trading conditions can differ significantly between brokers, the same EA settings can produce different results depending on:

For the closest possible comparison with the development environment, the same or similar server-time structure and comparable trading conditions are recommended.

However, identical trading results cannot be guaranteed because execution conditions and market data may still differ between brokers.

Important: Strategy Test Before Live Trading

Before using GoldBuster on any live account, you should perform your own MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester backtest using data and trading conditions from the broker where you intend to trade.

Do not assume that settings producing good results on one broker will automatically perform the same way on another broker.

It is recommended to:

Backtest GoldBuster using your broker's XAUUSD symbol.

Use realistic spreads, commissions and execution conditions.

Where possible, use a broker with a UTC+2 / UTC+3 DST server-time schedule if you want candle timing that is closer to the original testing environment.

Test different market periods, including trending and volatile conditions.

Review drawdown and risk before considering profitability.

Forward-test the EA on a demo account before using real funds.

Select a risk percentage appropriate for your account size and risk tolerance.

If you are trading a prop firm account, you are responsible for ensuring that the selected settings comply with that firm's current trading rules, maximum drawdown limits and automated-trading requirements.
