Aggressive preset: $100,000 to $887,000 in the Strategy Tester
Two rule-based strategies on the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow, Nikkei and gold. A stop loss on every trade, no grid, no martingale. Load the Aggressive preset for the fastest growth or the Standard preset for a smoother ride: both set files come free with the EA, and the real tester numbers for both, bad years included, are right below.

Results at a glance (MT5 Strategy Tester, PU Prime price history, 1-minute OHLC, 100,000 USD start)
- Aggressive (indices 3% risk, gold 2% risk, 30% max-loss safety net), January 2020 to October 2026: +787% (100,000 to 887,320 USD), 1,234 trades, profit factor 1.31, largest equity drawdown 35.8%
- Aggressive, January 2023 to October 2026 only: +649%, largest equity drawdown 27.8%
- Standard (indices 1% risk, gold 1% risk, 20% max-loss safety net), January 2020 to October 2026: +196%, largest equity drawdown 18.7%
- The bad years: from 2020 to 2022 the Aggressive preset made only +17.5% and went through a 35.8% drop. The gold part alone lost 24% from 2017 to 2022, when gold moved sideways, and then the safety net stopped trading (without the safety net it would have lost 50%)
Higher risk means bigger gains and bigger drops. If a 36% drop would make you switch the EA off, use the Standard preset. Past results do not guarantee future results.
What you get
- Two presets in one click (Inputs tab, Load): Standard and Aggressive, download link above
- One chart trades the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones 30, Nikkei 225 and gold
- A stop loss on every trade and a lot sized from your risk %, so a trade that hits its stop costs about the % you set (price gaps and slippage can add to it)
- Runs on your own account or on a prop challenge (built-in presets for FTMO, FundedNext and The5ers; use the default settings there, not Aggressive)
- Free 14-day trial on your own demo account
Launch price: $149 for the first 10 copies, then $199.
Strategy 1: Index Dip (daily, long only)
Buys a short, sharp dip in a stock index while its long-term trend is up, and sells within days.
- Buy when the day closes with RSI(2) below 10 and above the 200-day moving average
- Sell at the first daily close above the 5-day moving average, or after 10 days
- Stop loss 3 x ATR(10) on every trade
- Default symbols: S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones 30 and Nikkei 225 (your broker's names are found automatically: US500, SP500.s, USTEC, NAS100, DJ30, US30, JP225, Nikkei225...)
- About 3 trades a month across the four indices, each held about 3 days, so the overnight fees stay small
Strategy 2: Breakout (stop orders at swing highs and lows)
- Buy stop above the high and sell stop below the low of the last 20 bars, only in the direction of the 200 EMA
- Stop loss 3 x ATR(14), take profit 2 x the stop, stop to break-even at +1 x the stop, optional trailing stop, time exit
- When one order fills, the other is deleted. Pending orders are deleted on Friday evening, so nothing fills on a Monday gap
- Default symbol: XAUUSD (off in the default settings; the Standard and Aggressive presets switch it on)
Each strategy on its own (PU Prime price history, 1-minute OHLC, 100,000 USD)
Index Dip, 4 indices, January 2020 to October 2026, 1% risk per trade: +15.8%, 254 trades, 72% winners, profit factor 1.44, largest equity drawdown 6.5%. The same at 3% risk: +53.9% with a 19.1% drawdown.
Breakout on XAUUSD H1, 1% risk per trade:
- January 2023 to October 2026: +121.5%, 564 trades, profit factor 1.30, largest equity drawdown 14.4%
- January 2017 to December 2022: -8.0%. Gold mostly moved sideways, the breakouts failed, and the built-in guard stopped trading at its maximum-loss level (FTMO-style 10% limit, stepping in at 8%)
Breakouts earn in trending markets and lose in sideways ones. The 2023-2026 result comes from gold's strong trend; we show both periods so you know what to expect. Past results do not guarantee future results.
Loss-limit-safe trading (what makes it different)
Before every trade the EA adds up what the account would lose if every open trade and pending order hit its stop loss. A new trade may only use the room that is left before the daily or maximum loss limit (minus a safety buffer); if it needs more, the lot is cut to fit, or the trade is skipped if you prefer. The guard watches the whole account (every symbol, every EA, manual trades) and steps in at, for example, 80% of a limit: it closes all positions, deletes pending orders and keeps trading locked (daily: until the reset, maximum: for good).
- Firm presets: FTMO 2-Step, FTMO 1-Step, FundedNext Stellar 2-Step, The5ers High Stakes, or Custom
- Daily loss limit with the reset in server time, Prague time, New York time or UTC; maximum loss static, trailing or end-of-day trailing
- Optional: daily profit target lock, per-trade loss cap, max positions, lots and trades per day, high-impact news lock (MetaTrader's built-in calendar), Friday close
Not trading a prop account? Set both limits to 0 and the EA simply trades its strategies.
Panel
Status (trading, locked, weekend), each strategy's symbols and open trades, the last decision for every symbol (for example "RSI(2) 34: no dip"), the room before a limit, today's result and both limits.
Good to know
- One chart runs everything: attach it to any chart; it trades the listed symbols itself
- Risk per trade is a % of balance, equity or the initial challenge balance; trades are sized from the broker's own tick values
- Hedging and netting accounts; on netting accounts one trade per symbol
- Works best with low index spreads and a VPS. Index CFDs carry overnight fees; Index Dip holds about 3 days, so they are a small cost
- Try it first in the Strategy Tester or with the free 14-day demo trial
Inputs
- Risk: per strategy risk %, risk base, max trades open, shrink or skip when the room is too small, smallest lot allowed
- Index Dip: on/off, symbols, RSI level, trend and exit averages, max days, stop (ATR multiple)
- Breakout: on/off, symbols, timeframe, swing bars, buffer, stop, take profit, break-even, trailing, max hours, trend filter, directions
- Orders: symbol map, weekend pending orders, magic number
- Prop firm: preset, initial balance, highest balance so far (trailing), daily and maximum loss limits, safety buffer, warning level, daily profit target
- Per-trade loss cap, trades without a stop loss, trade limits, news lock, Friday close
- Alerts, push notifications, panel corner and font size
