WHAT IS SCALP GOLD HUNTER?
Scalp Gold Hunter is a fully automated Expert Advisor developed exclusively for XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5. It identifies structural price levels on the higher timeframe and places pending stop orders at calculated entry points. No martingale. No grid. No averaging in. No hedging.
Every trade has a defined Stop Loss and Take Profit from the moment the order is sent, and only one position is held at a time.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
- The EA scans XAUUSD for significant structural highs and lows, then places a pending Buy Stop or Sell Stop at a calibrated distance from the level. A confirmed move is required to trigger the order, not a simple price touch.
- Levels that are already invalidated are retired and never reused. Orders that are not filled within their lifetime are removed automatically.
- Once filled, the position is managed with a fixed Stop Loss, a fixed Take Profit, and a trailing stop that activates after the trade moves into profit.
- The EA uses its own internal timeframes. The chart timeframe you attach it to does not change its behaviour.
KEY FEATURES
- Weekend Gap Protection: pending orders are deleted before the Friday close, so nothing is left to be filled at the Monday opening gap. The cutoff hour is adjustable to your broker's server time.
- NFP Filter: trading pauses before and after high impact USD news using the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar.
- Spread Filter: entries are blocked when the spread is wider than your limit.
- Equity Protection: set a minimum and a maximum equity level. When either is reached, the EA closes its trades and stops.
- Prop Firm Compatible: maximum daily drawdown limit, as a percentage or a fixed amount.
- Trading Days Filter: disable any day of the week.
- Flexible Sizing: Fixed Lot, or Auto Lots calculated from a risk percentage and the Stop Loss distance.
- Information Panel: live account status, spread, orders, equity curve and daily, weekly and monthly statistics, with Pause and Close All buttons.

REQUIREMENTS
- Platform: MetaTrader 5
- Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold) only
- Chart Timeframe: H1
- Minimum Balance: 1000 USD at the default 0.1 lot. For smaller accounts reduce Fixed Lots or switch to Auto Lots.
- Account Type: Hedging recommended. Netting is supported with a single net position.
- Recommended Leverage: 1:100 or higher
- VPS: strongly recommended
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Entry distances are calibrated for the price scale of Gold. Other symbols will not produce meaningful results.
- The MetaTrader 5 economic calendar is not available inside the Strategy Tester. In backtests the news filter is approximated by date for Nonfarm Payrolls only, so behaviour around news will differ between backtest and live trading.
- Backtests help you understand the logic, but live results differ because of spread, slippage, commission, execution speed and liquidity. Keep a realistic buffer between the two.
