to be honest this ea is a waste of money do not buy this yes i reached out to the creator before buying ea that i did not use same brokers he has recomended and he said that it was not an issue and now ea has either lost money or just not traded

Sorry, but since I bought three of your EAs and two of them have already disappeared from the market, I have no choice but to leave a negative review on this last EA that is still available. All three EAs ended in losses, and they all used similar scalping strategies. Not worth buying.

I am honestly not satisfied with the robot's trading performance. However, I must say that the developer's customer support has been very good, helpful, and responsive. I appreciate the support, but unfortunately, the robot's performance has not met my expectations.

Pues si las modificaciones que hace son buenas no quite la señal y pon a funcionar todas las modificaciones en dicha señal e incluso depositarle mas dinero para creerte que realmente tu sistema es bueno y que funciona.......... No recomiendo que se compre ningún sistema de este programador porque perderás seguro por partida triple. lo que invierte en el IA +Capital de la cuenta+ el VPS. Y para colmo te hecha de la cuenta de Telegram.

Excellent EA with Great Potential! I have thoroughly tested ThunderGold through backtests and demo accounts, and the results are impressive. The strategy works very well, especially when adjusting the stop loss to about twice the ATR value (around $15–$30). The default $2 stop loss per lot feels a bit tight, so I would highly recommend adding an option to customize the stop loss settings within the EA. Even though I experienced some losses on my live EUR account, I can clearly see the strengths of this EA in capturing market movements effectively. Each trade placed by ThunderGold on MT5 is reliably executed and remains active for around two days, which shows the robust management behind this system. The EA has great potential, and with a few enhancements like customizable stop loss and an extended user guide, it could become even better. I really enjoy using ThunderGold and look forward to future updates! Highly recommended for traders looking for a smart and adaptable automated trading solution. I'm using ECN ZERO Account from Fussionmarkets that is NOT listed but still works fine.

Bear in minde guys at first he asked you the price 299$ as soon as you downloaded it do the back test and once purchased it he will ask you to pay him 399$ on top of that once gold scalper will not on work on live and you question him he will send you the user guide link basicaly with our money he is promoting few broker, this ea make 0.03 sent and 0.04 loses with 0.01 lot the other lot size is asame story you need to be very carefull to waste your 400 usd on this crap if it was that good why he is charging money he sould have make millions of this gold scalper himself

his reply to my review is not true why shall i lie for 100$ here at below the ea price showed 299$ when you attached to the chaet there are two option one test second buy when you click buy its straight away 399$ i dond know its his trick or MQL5 fee but i have paid 399 the truth is ea open the pending order and price will run 100$ away if you delet that order then its will open new pending but on retrace with in second order closes in loss or breakeven sometime if there is no retrace at fill price then you will have minimal profet and more loss in backtest this ea will make you 100s of 1000s this the realty now its up to you guys

Severity: Critical - after upgrading to v2.4 the EA produces no trades and floods the tester journal.

1. TEST ENVIRONMENT

- MetaTrader 5, build 6230, 64-bit

- Symbol/timeframe: XAUUSD, M15 (broker server Exness-MT5Real3)

- Modelling: every tick based on real ticks

- Test period: 2026.01.01 00:00 to 2026.10.24 00:00

- Deposit 2,000 USD, leverage 1:2000

- Main inputs: UseFixedLot=true, FixedLot=0.01, RiskPercent=20, BrokerType=1, UseHolidayFilter=true, UseNewsFilter=false, all SL/TP/Trailing inputs left at 0 (EA defaults).

2. PROBLEM SUMMARY

Since upgrading to v2.4:

(1) The EA places stop orders tens to hundreds of dollars away from the current market price, so they never trigger. The levels are stale: the EA keeps re-placing the exact same level even after the price has moved 500-1000 dollars away from it.

(2) When the market closes, the EA tries to delete these pending orders, the delete fails with the message [Market closed], and the EA retries the delete in an infinite loop about every 1-2 seconds, for weeks of test time. The journal becomes unusable and the backtest barely progresses.

(3) Result: zero fills and zero profit/loss for over a month of test time. The previous version worked fine, so this looks like a regression in the pending-order logic introduced in v2.4.

3. EVIDENCE (from the tester journal 20261024.log)

3.1 Pending orders placed far from market

- 2026.01.02 00:00:00 buy stop 0.01 XAUUSD at 4550.133 (SL 4549.783 / TP 4553.633), while bid/ask was 4348.958 / 4348.995 - the entry is 201.18 dollars (about 4.6%) above the market.

- 2026.01.02 00:00:00 sell stop 0.01 XAUUSD at 4274.593 (SL 4274.943 / TP 4271.093), while bid/ask was 4349.180 / 4349.217 - 74.6 dollars below the market.

- The sell stop level 4536.943 is placed again and again while bid/ask at those moments are 5043.650, 5172.208 and 5513.688 - i.e. the market is already 500-977 dollars away, yet the EA still hangs the order at the old level.

- The buy stop level 5595.229 is placed again and again while bid/ask are 5181.402, 5050.927 and 4592.021 - the market is 414-1003 dollars away.

3.2 Infinite cancel-retry after market close

- Out of 31,548 journal lines, 31,167 (98.8%) are "failed cancel order ... [Market closed]".

- The loop runs from 2026.01.01 00:00:00 to 2026.02.06 21:57:59, at every trading day's close, roughly 1.8 attempts per second, without ever stopping.

- Affected pending orders: #2/#3, #18/#21, #41, #55, #68/#69, #73/#74 - all buy+sell stop pairs that never triggered because they were too far away.

3.3 Suspicious SL/TP ratio

- On the first orders the stop loss is 0.35 dollars and the take profit is 3.5 dollars (a 1:10 risk/reward on a scalper), which strongly suggests a digit/point mismatch: this gold symbol has 3 digits (1 point = 0.001), and if the code assumes 2 digits, every distance is 10 times off.

4. LIKELY ROOT CAUSES

1) Stale or incorrect price source for the entry levels - for example a high/low buffer taken with a wrong index/shift, or a level computed once on an old bar and never refreshed afterwards.

2) No invalidation logic after placement - once the market moves away from the pending level, the EA neither deletes nor re-computes the order; it just leaves it sitting there until market close.

3) Unbounded order-delete retry without checking the market state - the delete fails with the "market closed" return code and the EA retries forever instead of backing off and trying again in the next session.

4) Digit/point assumption - distances appear to be computed for a 2-digit gold quote while the actual symbol is 3-digit.

5. SUGGESTED FIXES (described in plain words)

1) Validate the distance to market BEFORE placing any pending order. Compute the gap between the intended entry price and the current bid; if it is larger than a sensible limit (for example 2 times the ATR, or a fixed maximum number of points), do not place the order - recompute the level first.

2) Add invalidation for stale pendings. After an order is placed, check on every new bar (or every tick) how far the current price is from the pending entry; as soon as the market moves away beyond the limit, delete the old order and re-place it at a freshly computed level, instead of leaving it until the close.

3) Bound the delete retry and respect the market-closed state. When deleting a pending order fails, first check the trade server return code. If it says the market is closed, stop retrying immediately, remember the ticket in a to-do list, and delete it when the market reopens. If it fails for another reason, retry only a limited number of times (about 3 attempts, half a second apart); if it still fails, log it once and move on. Never loop every second without a limit.

4) Use the symbol's real digits and point size everywhere. Do not hard-code distances assuming 2-digit gold; read the symbol's digits and point (and the minimal tick size) at runtime and base all SL/TP/distance calculations on them, so the EA works identically on 2-digit and 3-digit quotes.

5) Do not start the logic with insufficient history. After loading, wait until enough bars are available (or skip trading when history data is incomplete), so the entry levels are not computed from thin or holiday data such as the New Year session.

6) Manage orders BEFORE the close. Delete pending orders a few minutes before the market closes each day, instead of attempting deletions after trading has already stopped.

6. HOW TO REPRODUCE

1) Attach v2.4 to XAUUSD M15 in the Strategy Tester with the settings listed in section 1 (real ticks, period 2026.01.01 to 2026.10.24).

2) At 2026.01.02 00:00 the EA places buy stop 4550.133 and sell stop 4274.593 while bid is about 4349.

3) From 2026.01.02 21:00 onward the journal fills with "failed cancel order ... [Market closed]" roughly every 1-2 seconds, and no trade ever opens.

7. ATTACHMENTS

- 20261024.log - the tester journal (9.3 MB, 98.8% cancel-failure spam).

Please confirm receipt. I can provide the .set file, screenshots, or further logs on request. This behaviour did not exist before the v2.4 upgrade, so a regression in the pending-order logic is strongly suspected. Thank you for your time.

8. URGENT - REQUEST FOR A QUICK FIX

This issue completely breaks the EA: since v2.4 it cannot open a single trade and only floods the journal with errors, so the product is effectively unusable in its current state. Please treat this report as urgent.

Because this is a clear regression introduced by the v2.4 update (the previous version worked correctly), and because I have provided exact evidence, affected order numbers, and step-by-step reproduction instructions above, I believe the faulty code can be located and corrected quickly.

I would kindly ask you to:

confirm receipt of this report and that you can reproduce the problem;

release a fixed version as soon as possible, ideally within the next few days;

if a fix takes longer, reply with an estimated release date so I know where things stand.

If the EA cannot be restored to a working state in the near future, I will have no choice but to request a refund through the MQL5 Market. I would much prefer to keep using the product and revise my review once it works again.

So far, I am very happy with the overall experience. It is easy to configure, and the trading style suits what I was looking for. Of course, every EA carries risk and results can vary, but based on my experience so far, ThunderGold has impressed me. I like that it looks for more trading opportunities rather than sitting inactive for long periods.

I’ve tested many EAs, and most are designed simply to be sold—leaving the buyer forgotten afterward. ThunderGold is different. While it is a typical EA that uses pending orders, the underlying logic makes a huge difference. I’ve been testing the EA for a month and the results are excellent. The only thing to keep in mind is the need to follow the instructions and the author's recommendations, especially regarding the broker and account type. Additionally, the author is helpful and responds very quickly to messages. All in all, the EA is worth the price—I’d even go so far as to say it’s too cheap considering its performance. I sincerely recommend buying it; it’s money well spent.

I have used several gold EAs on the MQL5 Market, including grid systems such as Quantum Queen, Quantum X and similar products. On XAUUSD those strategies can look strong for a while, then break when gold starts a long one-way move. That is the usual grid problem: no real stop, exposure keeps growing, and one bad stretch can wipe the account. ThunderGold Scalper is a different approach. It trades with clearly defined take profit and stop loss. Risk is visible from the start. Yes, the stop loss will get hit — that is part of trading gold, not a defect. What matters is that the EA does not hide risk behind a grid or martingale. Losses stay controlled, winners can run with the trailing stop, and you can actually manage the account. ThunderGold Scalper is different. Real TP and SL on every trade. Excellent risk control. Yes, the SL will hit sometimes — that is normal. What matters is that losses stay defined and the account stays under control. Reliable, profitable, no grid, no martingale. For me, 5 stars without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ThunderGold surprised me — and it also changed how I judge Gold EAs After what happened with Quantum Queen in July, I stopped trusting ratings, screenshots and beautiful backtests alone. I started testing EAs much deeper: live trades, drawdown, loss structure, holding time, weekly consistency and whether the strategy is grid/recovery or actually accepts losses. That’s where ThunderGold really stood out for me. From the author’s live history I analyzed, I counted 34 trades, 26 wins / 8 losses (~76.5% WR) with a simple gross PF around 3.86. What I liked most was the payoff: losses were generally controlled while winners were allowed to become much larger. I saw winners around +$1,100, +$1,300, +$1,500 and even +$2,200 on that account. And unlike QQ, ThunderGold is advertised as no grid, which is much closer to the risk structure I want after experiencing what a recovery basket can do when Gold refuses to reverse. The official ThunderGold page also describes it as a selective XAUUSD system using structure, trend, momentum and execution controls rather than continuous trading. One warning for new EA buyers: investigate the history behind the product, not just the stars. The original Quantum Queen page published in June 2024 is now unavailable for purchase, and the original Quantum Athena, published in April 2026, is also unavailable. Their replacements, Quantum Queen X and Quantum Athena X, were published only on July 14 and July 23, 2026. The new Queen X page itself says it uses the “same proven core engine” as the old Queen. So before treating a brand-new product page and its new reviews as a completely fresh track record, ask where the historical performance actually comes from. The current Quantum Queen signal is especially worth studying carefully. MQL5 shows $100 initial deposit, more than $13,000 of later deposits, more than $16,000 of withdrawals, 31% equity drawdown and PF 2.60. MQL5 also labels it as showing growth “since 2024,” even though the page currently lists a later signal start date. There are also multiple public MQL5 users describing severe QQ grid drawdowns around July 2026 and questioning differences between live behavior and clean backtests. Those are user reports, not proof of fraud, but they are serious enough that buyers should investigate them instead of relying only on 5-star reviews. I also found public accusations that some positive Quantum reviews were coordinated or incentivized. I cannot independently prove those accusations, so I won’t present them as fact. But the claims exist publicly, and buyers can read the discussions themselves and make their own judgment. For me, the biggest lesson is simple: A 4.9-star rating does not tell you what happens when a 6–10 position Gold basket goes deeply against you. Look at the actual strategy. Look at equity DD, not only balance. Look for deposits into the signal account. Look at what happened during the worst market days. And check whether the “long live history” actually belongs to the exact EA version currently being sold. After doing that work, I personally became much more comfortable with systems like ThunderGold, where a bad trade can simply be accepted as a loss instead of depending on a large recovery basket. Don’t follow hype — investigate the EA underneath it.
