Scalper speed with sniper entries. Built for Gold.
Tired of all the fake EAs that eventually disappear? Most authors just create another EA when it fails - I wanted to do it differently.
Wave Rider is my personal project built out of passion - honest, transparent EA without any fake AI or manipulated back-test that's been continuously updated for more than 6 months, that I am using myself from very first day.

Version 5.x upgrade notice: Close all Wave Rider positions before updating. Strategy Magic Numbers and several input names changed. Review your settings and save a new preset because older sets or templates may not restore every option.
New version runs best on VT Markets, Vantage, Blackbull, Fusion, IC Markets and FxTrading. If you have SLs on your broker contact me for further help.
Hybrid scalper combining scalping speed with single position or intelligent recovery for XAUUSD.
7 trading strategies | Multi-timeframe confirmation | 3 layers of account protection.
Most trades close in under 30 minutes — minimal market exposure, maximum control.
Wave Rider uses triple timeframe analysis (H1 trend + M15/M30 entry confirmation) to only enter when the market structure aligns.
Safety above all — it has stayed out of every major gold crash so far.
The intelligent recovery activates only when needed but can also be disabled (single position only).
Why I Still Work On This Every Single Week
Let me be straight with you about what you are buying.
Most gold EAs on this market were built once, optimised until the equity curve looked beautiful, and quietly abandoned. You can always tell. The version history stops. Support goes cold. And the first time gold does something it has not done before, you are on your own with it.
That is not this product.
Here is what actually happens when I find a problem. I do not nudge a setting until the backtest turns green — that is how you fool yourself. I find the exact day it went wrong. The specific basket. The specific entry, down to the hour. Then I pull that one event apart across seven independent broker feeds until I understand precisely why it happened.
Then I build the fix — and I test it on every single one of those feeds. If it only works on one broker, it does not ship. It goes into my notes as rejected, and I start over. That has happened more times than I would like to admit.
Some of my research documents are named after a single trading day. That is the level I work at, and it is why updates keep coming.
It is the slower way to build an EA. It means I make fewer spectacular claims than my neighbours on this market. But it means that when you attach Wave Rider to a chart, you are running something that has already been dragged through the exact situations that quietly destroy other grid systems — not something that merely photographs well on one carefully chosen history.
Frequent updates. Every change documented, including the failures. And a developer who answers you personally. That is the deal, and I intend to keep it.
7 Strategies. One Goal. Consistent Gold Trading.
Gold has been volatile. Sharp drops, sudden reversals, and news-driven spikes have wiped out accounts running EAs that trade blindly.
Wave Rider was built with one principle: knowing when NOT to trade is just as important as knowing when to enter.
Triple timeframe trend confirmation, ATH protection, dynamic exit, and drawdown limits — the EA sits out when conditions are dangerous and only trades when the structure is right.
Each strategy targets a different market condition. Run them all together, or pick the ones that suit your style:
- S01 — Support and Resistance: Dual timeframe ZigZag-based detection of real support and resistance levels on M15/M30 — zones where price actually reversed, not arbitrary lines. Filters entries with volatility and trend strength confirmation.
- S02 — Pullback: Watches multiple timeframes (M1/M5/M15) for momentum shifts and catches retracements at the right moment. Includes bounce zone detection and exhaustion filtering to avoid false entries.
- S03 — Trend Breakout: Detects when price breaks out of a consolidation range with momentum confirmation. Rides strong directional moves with multiple entries.
- S04 — M5 Bounce: Identifies oversold bounce setups on M5 using market strength, momentum, and candle patterns. Multiple confirmation layers keep entries precise, with additional summer protection against rare overextended BUY setups.
- S05 — Smart-Money Volume: Reads volume and candle spread across several timeframes to detect No Supply, No Demand, Stopping Volume, and Buying Climax behavior.
- S06 — Momentum Continuation: Separate BUY and SELL engines look for fresh M15 trend ignition and follow momentum while each direction's structure remains healthy.
- S07 — Impulse: Optional and disabled by default. Detects strong M30 impulses, enters controlled M5 pullbacks, and avoids late resumes after an unusually extended trend when Wide recovery is selected.
When one strategy waits, another may fire — giving you consistent coverage across different market conditions.
S01, S04, S05, and S06 support both BUY and SELL directions. S02, S03, and optional S07 are BUY-only. You can restrict the EA globally to BUY only or SELL only.
Two Trade Modes. You Choose How to Manage Risk.
Not everyone trades the same way. Wave Rider lets you pick the exit strategy that fits your style:
- Recovery (Grid) — Intelligent grid recovery with progressive spacing, trailing stop, and breakeven tracking. Your backup plan when the market moves against you. Default mode.
- Single Position (SL/TP) — One trade, fixed stop loss, fixed take profit, and a built-in trailing stop that locks in profit as price moves in your favor. No grid, no recovery layers. Clean and simple — ideal for prop firm accounts. With 98% Win Rate
Switch between them with a single dropdown. Same high-quality entries either way.
The Recovery Choice — This Is What Makes Wave Rider Different
If you read one section on this page, make it this one.
Open almost any grid EA and you are met with a wall of inputs. Distance. Lot multiplier. Maximum orders. Profit target. Spacing steps. Timing. It looks like power. It is actually a loaded gun pointed at your account.
Because here is what nobody tells you: those values are not independent. Widen the spacing but leave the lot progression alone, and a deep basket can never drag its own breakeven back to price — it just sits there, bleeding, for days. Tighten the distance but leave the target where it was, and positions stack faster than they can possibly close.
Almost every dangerous basket I have found in my own testing died the same way. Not from one wrong number. From a combination nobody had ever tested — assembled in good faith by someone who thought more knobs meant more control.
So I stopped shipping the parts.
Wave Rider gives you four complete recovery personalities. Each was built and tested as a single package across independent broker feeds. You pick one — and every value that has to move together moves together. Spacing, target, depth, lot behaviour, timing, exposure ceilings. Locked in step, permanently.
- Wide (Slow) — the balanced default, and where I would start. Recovery levels follow four-hour volatility instead of a fixed distance, wait between additions, and aim at a larger basket target. Fewer positions. More patience. Less to watch.
- Wide (Fast) — the same package, recovering sooner. In testing it delivered more activity and more profit. It also delivered more drawdown, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. It exists for traders who choose that trade deliberately — not for someone who wandered into it.
- Static — the original fixed BUY/SELL spacing with a tighter target. More recovery trades, faster resolution, more of the classic grid rhythm.
- Hybrid — fixed minimum distances that volatility is allowed to widen, but never to tighten. A floor under your spacing that fast markets cannot pull away.
You cannot build a broken configuration — because the configuration is not yours to assemble. Change your mind at any time and a single dropdown moves you to an entirely different tested behaviour. And if you want none of it, Single Position mode switches the whole recovery system off.
Whichever personality you choose, the same hard protections sit underneath it:
- Breakeven calculated across every position in the basket
- Broker-confirmed trailing stop that locks profit in once the target is passed
- Hard ceilings on both total basket volume and position count — no runaway stacking
- Session-aware order handling that never fires impossible requests into a closed market
- Visual target and next-recovery lines, so you always see exactly where the basket is heading
- Real basket depth still depends on the market. No recovery system on earth can promise you an outcome, and I will not be the first to try.
3 Layers of Protection. Your Account Comes First.
- Drawdown Protection — Daily drawdown tracking against peak equity (percentage or money). Positive broker credit is excluded from protection equity by default and can be included deliberately. Automatically closes Wave Rider positions and pauses trading when your threshold is hit. Resets daily.
- ATH Protection — Prevents new entries when price is near all-time highs. Configurable timeframe and percentage threshold — stop buying the top.
- Dynamic Exit — Detects rapid adverse price moves and auto-closes all open positions. Protects you from news spikes, flash crashes, and sudden reversals.
Smarter News Protection.
New entries pause for two hours before and after matching events. High-impact CPI, FOMC, and NFP block the release day and following day, while USD bank holidays block their full server day. Jobless claims and US presidential events receive the standard protected window. Open positions continue to be managed normally.
Triple Timeframe Confirmation. No Fighting the Trend.
H1 EMA filter detects the overall trend direction.
Entries only trigger when lower timeframe signals align WITH the H1 trend — no fighting the market.
Configurable fast/slow EMA periods with optional EMA alignment and separation requirements.
Entry Profile and Position Risk. Two Separate Decisions.
Choose Cautious, Balanced, or Aggressive entry behavior separately from lot sizing. Balanced is the tuned default, leaving you free to combine entry selectivity with the account risk level that suits you.
Full Control. Full Transparency.
- NextGen Dashboard — A clean dark interface showing account performance, drawdown, seven strategy states, per-strategy P/L, news protection, and the calculated lot with its sizing risk and entry profile.
- Position Sizing — Fixed Lot, Auto Risk (scales with balance — from Very Low to High), or Custom Scale (your own ratio). Pick what fits your account.
- Time Management — Multiple trading windows per day, separate Friday schedule, and clear per-strategy "New Trades Allowed From / Until" controls. Existing positions remain managed outside entry windows.
Built and Checked Across Broker Feeds.
Version 5.0 testing from 2025 to current produced thousands of positions across multiple broker feeds. Broker prices, spreads, specifications, and history still differ, so always back-test your exact Gold symbol and settings with real ticks. Past results do not guarantee future performance.
