Trendlock EA – Breakout EA for Forex, Gold, Bitcoin & Indices

Trendlock EA is a breakout Expert Advisor that places a Buy Stop at the latest swing high and a Sell Stop at the latest swing low. New orders are evaluated once per bar, with a maximum of one order per direction. Every position is protected by SL, TP, and a trailing stop from the moment it opens.

ATTENTION

We have included the recommended EA settings file in the comments section.

KEY FEATURES

- Four instrument modes: Forex (TP/SL in points), plus Gold, Bitcoin, and US Indices (TP/SL as a percentage of price, adapting to volatility).

- Risk-based auto lot sizing: calculated from balance % and SL distance, with a maximum lot cap and margin checks.

- Daily Loss Limit: stops new orders once the daily loss limit is reached, with an option to close all positions. The status is preserved even after a terminal restart.

- Trade filters: trading hours, maximum spread, economic news (MT5 Economic Calendar), RSI, and price distance from a Moving Average.

- Auto Cut Loss: closes positions when the loss exceeds a set number of points or when a price gap occurs.

- Safe execution: respects the broker's stops level and freeze level, with automatic retry on requotes.

- Panel & dashboard: shows equity, floating P/L, daily/monthly profit, win rate, spread, and EA status directly on the chart.

- Account: Hedging (on netting accounts, buy and sell orders may offset each other)

- Timeframe: M15 – H1

- Run a backtest and test on a demo account before using it on a live account.

- The news filter is inactive in the Strategy Tester because the Economic Calendar is not available there.

- Make sure the symbol keywords (BTC, XAU, US30, NAS100) match your broker's symbol names.
