One Man Army

I purchased the Ami EA as recommended. If you ask for my opinion now, I would say that I am neither particularly satisfied nor dissatisfied. Due to environmental constraints, EA users often have only two choices: either fully trust the developer and continue using it, or simply discard it. However, I believe users can discover hidden flaws that the developer might miss. If users suggest improvements regarding these defects, the EA can evolve into a truly excellent and long-lasting tool. Here are a few things I observed: Trend detection for trade entry looks quite good, but the downside is that it tends to start in a negative state initially and recover slowly. From a user's perspective, this is somewhat disappointing. For "one-shot" trading styles, I wonder what kind of performance would be achieved if one opened a two-way trade upon initial entry, closed the opposing trend position at a specific point to take profit, and simply maintained the main trend. Also, for "three-shot" trading styles, the timing of the second entry always seems very accurate. As mentioned earlier, what if one opened a two-way trade upon the first entry, closed the opposing position at the appropriate time to take profit, and simply maintained the main trend? Currently, Ami EA is not generating significant losses or profits. However, I believe that great developers always do their best to create the best EA possible. Since even a seasoned developer like you, who has created countless EAs, might overlook these minor details, I wanted to share my observations.

One thing I can say for sure... This EA is definitely a good EA.

Real strategy, no risky grids or martingale. Heavy reliance on indicators which makes sense and that's why individual strategies are updated frequently. Good support and responsive seller. I would suggest the seller to eventually work on making this a OneChart multiple strategies EA to minimize the maintenance of the EA.

Very good and consistent EA

I bought this EA when it was launched. After having some losses at the beginning of the year, the bot has recovered. In the long run it is profitable and that is what matters.

good strategy with different asset diversification

After a few months of using this bot I can honestly recommend this bot. There is a real strategy behind this bot with a stop loss, so no scary martingale stuff. Very good ea which will be a nice and profitalbe addition to any porfolio. Also check out other ea's of Ihor like Shark FX etc. But I like this one most till now. Hope Ihor will keep this ea updated in future

I had bought this EA when it was first released. It has performed to expectations. (Realistic expectations that overtime this EA will make profits). If you are looking for quick money and no stop loss system, this is not it. This EA is not like many others out there. One Man Army does not use a never ending grid that will eventually cause you to lose all your capital, instead it applies a stop loss to avoid catastrophic losses. Overall the system makes profits if you give it time to work, don't expect it will always be green profitable days as any EA with a safety stop loss in place will have some losing days or months. But to me, as long as it profits in the long run it is a good EA. I hope Ihor keeps this EA updated with set files etc as promised. One of the rare good EAs on MQL store.

It's important to understand what this EA is and use according to your own risk profile. It has recovery position with sl to avoid disaster and ability to recover. There is no holy grail, patience and risk management are very important. I'll post the result of running One Man Army form Jan 2026 until end of April 2026 in the comment section

I have been using the One Man Army EA with the Double Shot set-files since the product launch. So far it worked very well and I only had one month with losses due to the de-dollarization mania in the world, in which nearly every major currency was trending strongly upwards against the US-Dollar. After this drawdown period in January the bot recovered very quickly (even with double digit growth every month). Great work from Ihor !

I have been using the EA since November when I first purchased the bot. With a small lot size, you can sleep without worrying about what the EA will do. It produces stable small profits but since it is an EA, it has to run on a reliable VPS.

I used One Man Army since day one. In total I can say the EA works good with DD & Profits. It is profitable but with small accounts as I have there is not a big win possible. If you have big accounts >$10k it's reasonable and a good portfolio extension. I had no luck with propfirms as I used all charts in parallel. Excellent contact to the developer. Solid EA, good portfolio extension I would say.

This results in massive drawdowns, some of which last for months. It is not uncommon for the EA to shoot into drawdown and SL twice. Profitability looks different. Improvements and updates? None. Ihor's EA isn't a get-rich-quick scheme, but it lets you sleep soundly and delivers consistent results. I want to focus on EAs like this from now on, because I've lost enough money with other programs. I'm very satisfied. I appreciate the developer and his support. This has been the best of all the EAs I bought from Ihor. Started using it (Double Shot) on November 4th 2025 and until now it's up +16.6% with a recent dip. So far very consistent, let's see if it remains that way.

Edit: So far the signal was not deleted because this is the only EA that has not suffered terrible losses or was just barely break even. However I have little hope that it will stay this way so I reduced my review to 3 stars since the practices on all the other EAs leave little to trust in.

Today was the first time I hit the stop-loss with Double Shot, and the stop-loss amount was simply too large. Now, the currency pairs related to the Australian dollar and the New Zealand dollar have 20%DD, while both the AUD and NZD continue to strengthen and break through resistance levels, with no sign of a reversal in sight. Another issue is that I’ve noticed Pips Hunter is quite similar to Double Shot, though Double Shot is more aggressive. It typically enters at the nearest support or resistance level, and if the trade goes into floating loss, it opens another trade at the next support or resistance level. Then, it waits for a reversal to profit from both trades before closing them. I won’t comment on the entry points of Pips Hunter, I just feel Pips Hunter is somewhat better. However, there’s a major problem is that as an EA designed for short-term trading, its stop-loss is also quite large. Although previous trades wouldn’t wait for the stop-loss to be hit instead closing with a slight loss. the currently open EUR/AUD and AUD/CAD trades by Pips Hunter are already floating at an 8% loss. I’m genuinely afraid the strength of the AUD will eventually cause these trades to hit the stop-loss. Moreover, since I invested more capital in these trades than before, if the stop-loss is triggered, the profits from the past three months would vanish, and I’d end up with even greater losses.

04/30/2026 Update:

OMA DS's signal has already reached 100%, although I missed out on these profits because wasn't running during that period, the signal has reflected the EA's performance.

I restarted it this week, and it's doing well so far. Finally, I want to say that during that time, all my other currency pair EAs suffered huge losses due to the sharp rise in AUD and NZD, and they haven't recovered yet. In contrast, OMA DS not only recovered but also doubled, Im very optimistic about its future performance

I usually only take the time to write a review once the EAior has fully recovered its cost on a live account—and I'm pleased to say this one has done exactly that in a short period. Ihor has truly delivered an impressive EA here, operating effectively as a one-man development team. The performance has been strong, with consistent results that have exceeded my initial expectations, though there will be loss hanging there, but profitable ones fill the gap eventually. It's true that Ihor's EAs typically require opening 10+ charts to set up all pairs properly, but this is a small effort well worth making. Maybe it is the way to demonstrates respect for the developer's work, maximizes the bot's potential, and aligns perfectly with the important principle of diversification in trading. I genuinely hope this EA continues to receive the recognition and positive feedback it deserves, especially as future updates are released. Thank you, Ihor, for creating such a high-quality EA.
