MTF Candles Overlay MT4

This indicator overlays higher timeframe candles on the lower timeframe chart. You have option to make the candles Hollow (outline) or Solid (fill) for better visibility and analysis of your charts. You can easily change your chart timeframes ( to any lower timeframe than the indicator input) while using this indicator for true multi-timeframe analysis.

Inputs:
  1. Candles Period - Choose the timeframe for the overlay candles.
  2. No. of Candles - Number of overlay candles the indicator will show on the chart.
  3. Bull Candle - Choose the color for the bullish overlay candles.
  4. Bear Candle - Choose the color for the bearish overlay candles.
  5. Candle Body - If set to "true" overlay candles have solid bodies; If set to "false" overlay candles will only show outlines.
  6. Outline Thickness - When the "Candle Body" input is set to "false". You can change outline thickness by changing this value.
  7. Candle Wicks - If set to "true" overlay candles will show the wicks. By changing it to "false" you can remove wicks from the overly candles.

Tips for Implementing Multi Timeframe Analysis

  1. Stick to a Consistent Timeframe Combination:
    Determine which timeframes suit your trading style (e.g., daily, four-hour, 15-minute for swing trading) and stick with them for an extended period. Consistency helps in understanding how the market behaves across those specific intervals.
