ZoneEdge finds the support and resistance levels that price has actually tested on your chart, ranks them by how many times they held, and draws them as zones.

What it shows

- Where price sits relative to the nearest levels: near support, near resistance, in the middle of the range, and so on.

- The nearest support and resistance, with the distance in pips and the number of tests.

- Every level found, up to the eight nearest, in a table of type, price, pips away and number of tests.

- A check on your open trades: does each stop sit clear of the zones, or inside one where price often turns?

- Counts of support and resistance levels, the level tested most often, the average number of tests, and which side has held more levels.

The panel

- LEVELS and YOUR STOPS tabs.

- A switch on each tab shows or hides the zones on the chart.

The panel can be dragged and collapsed, and it remembers where you put it.

Notes

- It adapts to the symbol and timeframe. Pip sizes are handled correctly for gold and silver.

- It is an indicator: it never trades and never changes your orders.

Inputs

Levels

- Times a level must be tested to show: the minimum number of tests before a level is drawn. Default 5.

- Widest zone drawn (pips): zones wider than this are narrowed. Default 8.

- How far zones extend to the right (bars): default 60.

- Hide levels price has broken through: default on.

- Most zones drawn on the chart: default 10.

- Draw the zones when attached: default on. The zones can also be shown or hidden from the panel.
