The Economic News Panel brings relevant economic event information into the same chart environment as the automated trading system.

3. ECONOMIC NEWS TRADING FILTER

Additional control over trading activity during scheduled economic announcements.

Gold Engineer Hunter includes an optional economic news trading restriction system.

When activated, the EA can temporarily suspend new trade entries around selected economic announcements.

The restriction system supports:

  • Configurable periods before and after scheduled announcements.

  • High, Medium, and Low impact event selection.

  • Temporary restrictions on new entries.

  • Removal of EA-managed pending orders during restricted news periods.

Existing open positions continue to be managed through the EA's normal position management functions.

Users can also choose to allow normal trading activity during economic announcements.

The news trading restriction depends on the availability of economic calendar information and is not a guarantee against volatility, slippage, or unexpected market movements.

4. FLEXIBLE TRADING SCHEDULE & RISK CONTROLS

Gold Engineer Hunter provides configurable trading controls designed to support different trading schedules and account management preferences.

Trading Schedule Management

Users can control the time periods during which the EA evaluates new trading opportunities.

Available functions include daily entry cutoff times, Friday trading restrictions, and optional end-of-day position closing.

Broker Time & GMT Support

The EA supports broker server time and GMT/UTC-based scheduling.

This allows trading schedules to be configured using the selected time reference. Historical GMT offset adjustments may require manual configuration during backtesting.

Position Sizing

Gold Engineer Hunter supports fixed trading volume and percentage-based position sizing.

Users can select the position sizing method appropriate to their account configuration.

Trade Protection

The EA provides configurable Stop Loss, Take Profit, Break-even, and Trailing Stop functions.

Additional controls include maximum spread restrictions and a daily closed-loss threshold that can restrict further entries when reached.

These functions support trade management but cannot eliminate market or execution risks.

5. INTERACTIVE CHART INTERFACE

Gold Engineer Hunter brings trading information and performance monitoring together through two independent chart panels.

Trading Performance Dashboard

Provides account information, historical performance statistics, and EA trading status.

Economic News Panel

Displays scheduled economic events and available economic release data.

Both panels include independent visibility controls that allow users to show or hide them directly from the MetaTrader 5 chart.

The interface is designed to maintain access to essential information while allowing users to manage available chart space.

Hiding either panel does not disable the EA's automated trading functions. Hiding the News Panel also does not deactivate the configured news trading filter.

6. TRADING PERFORMANCE DASHBOARD

Monitor your trading account and EA performance directly from the chart.

Account Overview

Displays key account information, including:

  • Account Balance and Equity.

  • Floating Profit/Loss.

  • Current account conditions.

  • EA operating status.

Trading Performance Statistics

Provides access to important performance indicators:

  • Today's Net Profit/Loss.

  • Historical Closed Net Profit/Loss.

  • Win Rate.

  • Profit Factor.

  • Closed trading deals.

  • Open positions and pending orders.

  • Recent trading performance visualization.

The integrated performance chart displays results from recent closing deals within the selected historical period.

Account Balance and Equity represent the overall trading account, while EA-specific performance statistics are calculated using the applicable symbol and Magic Number.

The dashboard is designed to make trading activity easier to review without repeatedly switching between MetaTrader windows.

All displayed performance statistics represent recorded trading activity rather than predictions of future results.

7. IMPORTANT OPERATING INFORMATION

Trading Environment

Gold Engineer Hunter is developed primarily for gold trading on MetaTrader 5.

Trading operations depend on the selected symbol specifications, broker execution conditions, trading permissions, liquidity, and market data availability.

Trading Performance Statistics

Win Rate and Profit Factor displayed on the dashboard are calculated from closing deals within the selected historical period.

These values may differ from statistics calculated using complete trading positions.

The recent performance chart does not represent a complete historical account equity curve.

Economic Calendar & Strategy Tester

The Economic News Panel uses economic calendar data available through MetaTrader 5 during normal operation.

Historical economic calendar data is not included in the Strategy Tester in this version. As a result, news-based trading restrictions are bypassed during historical backtesting.

Live trading behavior may therefore differ from backtesting when news restrictions are enabled.

Trade Execution & Risk

Stop Loss, Take Profit, Break-even, Trailing Stop, and scheduled position closing depend on market conditions and broker execution.

Daily loss controls restrict new entries according to the EA's applicable closed trading results. They do not guarantee a maximum account loss or automatically close existing positions when the daily threshold is reached.

8. RISK DISCLOSURE

Trading financial instruments involves risk and may result in substantial financial losses.

Automated trading, protective orders, and risk management settings do not eliminate market risks.

Price gaps, slippage, changes in market liquidity, and broker execution conditions may produce results different from the configured trading levels.

Historical trading results, performance statistics, and Strategy Tester simulations do not guarantee future performance.

Users should evaluate the EA and its configuration using historical testing and demo trading before operating with real funds.
