Statera Genesis is a multi-symbol Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, built around exposure control. The name comes from statera, the Latin word for the weighing scales.
How it trades
Five signal engines vote on each H1 candle, with weights set automatically per asset class. A trade opens only when the weighted vote passes the threshold and every risk gate agrees.
Exposure control
Most robots count only their own positions. Statera Genesis runs a position census every tick that counts every open position on the account, including manual trades and trades from other software, and feeds those numbers to every limit:
- Global and per-symbol position caps
- Per-currency cap, so the account does not quietly become one large JPY or USD bet
- Correlation group cap for metals, crypto, energy, indices and commodity currencies
- Margin level and floating loss checks before any new entry
- Emergency margin guard that closes the worst position before a broker stop out
- Asymmetry monitor that disables a symbol whose average loss greatly exceeds its average win
- Manipulation filter covering liquidity sweeps, spike bars, volume bursts, spread widening and whipsaw
- Drawdown block that halts new entries and resumes on recovery
- Session filter with one switch for the whole day and hour timetable
Trade management
ATR trailing stop with per asset class distances, a breakeven move that accounts for spread, commission and swap, two staged partial closes, and a protective stop placed beyond normal market noise. Open positions are managed on a timer as well as on ticks, so management does not depend on the chart symbol being active.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5, hedging account. Netting accounts are not supported
- Leverage 1:200 or higher, no FIFO restriction
- Account size. On a cent account the practical minimum is 500 USD, with 1000 USD the comfortable starting point: lot sizing works properly and four to six symbols can be run at low risk per trade. On a standard account the minimum is 2000 USD. Start with fewer symbols and add more as the account grows
- Four to six symbols minimum. Recommended: EURGBP, NZDUSD, USDCAD, EURCHF, USDCHF, XAUUSD
- H1 timeframe, one chart, VPS recommended
- Raw or ECN spread account
- Swap-free account recommended. Positions are often held for several days, so overnight swap can consume a meaningful share of a trade's result. A swap-free (Islamic) account removes that cost entirely
What this Expert Advisor does not do
- No martingale and no lot multiplication after losses
- No grid
- Winners are small and frequent while losses are less frequent and larger. Position sizing is what makes this workable, so risk per trade is the most important setting
- It holds several positions at once and can carry floating loss before trades close
- It is not designed for FIFO regulated brokers or netting accounts
- It is not a news calendar system
Presets
Three preset files are included: Custos for small accounts, Ancora as the default, and Meridian for larger accounts. Each sets risk, caps and the session timetable in one load.
