Renko Nexus AI is a multi-strategy Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 built around an internal Renko engine, configurable market filters, flexible position management and an optional AI confirmation layer.
The EA contains seven selectable trading modules identified simply as Strategy A to Strategy G. They can be used individually or in supported combinations. The purpose of this structure is to let the user choose how signals are generated while keeping risk control, trade execution and position management inside one common system.
The EA does not depend on a single entry method. A candidate trade is generated by the selected strategy, checked by the enabled filters, passed through the money-management rules and then opened with the calculated volume, stop-loss and take-profit settings.
Optional management systems can continue controlling the position after entry, including dynamic stop-loss, break-even, trailing stop, opposite-position recovery, basket recovery and equity-based closing.
The optional AI confirmation module works as a final filter. It does not create independent trades and does not replace the EA's strategies.
How the EA operates
The normal process is:
Strategy signal → entry filters → risk and lot calculation → optional AI confirmation → trade execution → position management
The EA first builds its internal Renko structure from the selected Renko settings.
When one of the enabled strategies produces a BUY or SELL candidate, the EA checks the active filters. These can include Power Trend, the internal direction-level filter, chart candle confirmation, trendline filtering, volatility limits, time restrictions and economic news restrictions.
If the candidate remains valid, the EA calculates its risk and volume. Existing exposure, previous same-direction positions, available margin and enabled lot-sizing modifiers can all affect the final volume.
After the position is opened, the enabled management systems operate independently from the signal generator. This means the same dynamic stop-loss, trailing, break-even, recovery and basket-management rules can be used with positions created by any of the enabled strategies.
Strategy selection
The EA contains Strategies A, B, C, D, E, F and G.
The Strategy Mode input selects which strategy or combination of strategies is active.
The detailed internal trading rules are handled automatically by the EA. Users only need to select the desired strategy mode and configure the relevant parameters in that strategy's input section.
When several strategies are enabled together, they share the same risk-management and position-management systems.
Renko settings
The Renko Engine section controls how the EA creates its internal Renko structure.
Renko source timeframe selects the chart data used to build the Renko sequence.
Renko box-size method selects fixed, ATR-based or percentage-based sizing where available.
Fixed Renko box size defines the box size when traditional fixed sizing is selected.
Renko price source selects the price data used by the Renko calculation.
ATR period and ATR multiplier control ATR-based Renko sizing.
Percentage box size controls percentage-based Renko sizing.
Round box size to tick adjusts calculated boxes to the symbol's valid price increment.
These settings have a significant effect on trade frequency and should normally be tested again when changing symbol or timeframe.
Power Trend filter
Power Trend is a multi-timeframe market-condition filter.
It can be enabled or disabled independently.
For BUY trades, the user can specify the permitted positive Power Trend range.
For SELL trades, the user can specify the permitted negative Power Trend range.
Up to six timeframes can be enabled, and each timeframe has its own weight. This allows higher timeframes to have more influence than lower timeframes if desired.
Higher-timeframe confirmation can also be required before a trade is accepted.
The EA can optionally require the Power Trend regime to change to the opposite side before another sequence of same-direction entries is allowed.
Power Trend can also participate in risk sizing and position protection.
Direction-level filter
The EA contains an internal direction-level filter.
It can restrict new trades to BUY, SELL or no-trade conditions according to the configured start and exit levels.
The user can select its timeframe and the level at which a directional window starts and ends.
This filter is optional and can be disabled.
Additional entry filters
A number of additional filters are available.
The Renko trendline filter can be used as an additional entry condition.
The last closed chart candle can be required to agree with the proposed trade direction.
Minimum and maximum ATR values can be used to avoid trading outside a selected volatility range.
The time filter allows broker-time periods to be excluded from new entries.
The economic news filter can block new positions for a configurable number of minutes before and after selected events.
For historical news filtering in the Strategy Tester, historical news data must be available to the EA.
Trade setup
The trade setup section controls the general position rules.
Maximum open BUY positions limits simultaneous BUY positions.
Maximum open SELL positions limits simultaneous SELL positions.
A value of 0 means no separate directional limit.
Minimum bars between same-direction entries prevents BUY positions or SELL positions from being opened too close together.
Stop-loss Renko bricks back defines the initial Renko reference used for stop calculation.
Extra stop-loss points adds additional distance to that stop.
Reward/risk ratio defines the normal take-profit distance relative to the calculated risk distance.
A hedging account is required if BUY and SELL positions are expected to remain open simultaneously. On a netting account, MetaTrader combines opposite positions according to normal netting-account behavior.
Risk and money management
The Base risk per trade input defines the starting risk percentage used by the standard risk-based volume calculation.
The EA can optionally reduce risk during repeated same-direction entries.
It can also adjust rolling directional risk according to the relationship between a new entry and the previous same-direction entry.
A maximum rolling risk can be defined separately to prevent directional exposure from increasing without limit.
The margin protection system can limit the requested volume according to available margin.
Maximum free-margin use per new trade defines how much available margin one new order is allowed to consume.
These protections are applied before the order is sent.
Alternative lot-sizing modes
Renko Nexus AI includes optional lot-sizing methods in addition to normal percentage risk.
Previous-entry target sizing calculates later same-direction volume using the immediately previous same-direction entry as a target reference.
The first BUY and first SELL use the configured initial volume. Later positions can be sized toward the configured percentage-of-balance objective at the previous entry level.
Cycle-close target sizing can calculate a new position using the active cycle recovery target.
ATR lot adjustment can divide the calculated final volume using the current ATR.
These are advanced features. Enabling multiple volume modifiers at the same time means each enabled modifier can affect the final calculated volume.
Risk-free and basket management
The EA includes several optional basket-management rules.
Risk-free on opposite position open can protect the existing opposite side when a new opposite-direction position is opened.
Risk-free on opposite Renko brick can apply protection when an opposite Renko condition appears.
Deferred TP can temporarily withhold a later opposite position's TP while its linked opposite position remains in loss.
Cycle Profit/Loss Close uses realized results from the current cycle together with current equity conditions to determine when the active basket has recovered enough to close.
The cycle multiplier controls the required recovery relative to the realized cycle loss.
The cycle-close system becomes active only after the cycle contains a closed position.
Position-count equity close
This is an additional basket safety/exit option.
The feature becomes active when the number of open EA positions becomes greater than the configured threshold.
After it is armed, the EA waits until account equity reaches:
Balance + configured amount
and then closes the EA basket.
For example, if the threshold is 5 and the amount is 100 , the rule is armed after the EA has more than five open positions and closes the basket when equity reaches at least Balance + 100.
Dynamic stop-loss
The Dynamic Stop Loss section provides an alternative to immediately placing the original calculated stop.
The normal calculated stop can either be placed immediately or kept internally as a reference.
When dynamic pivot stop-loss management is enabled, the EA waits for the conditions of the selected dynamic-SL mode and then applies a stop using market pivots.
The user can control pivot left/right bars, pivot buffer, lookback distance and minimum required price movement.
An optional RSI-divergence condition can also be applied to dynamic stop selection.
Dynamic SL operates as a management feature and is shared by the enabled strategies.
Break-even
Break-even protection can be enabled independently.
The user can select when break-even becomes active, such as after a selected R multiple, point distance or TP-equivalent level.
The break-even offset can place the stop exactly at entry or slightly beyond entry.
Trailing stop
Trailing management can be enabled separately from break-even.
The EA supports ATR-based and structure-based trailing modes.
Trailing can start immediately or after a configured profit condition.
ATR trailing uses its own ATR period and distance multiplier.
Structure trailing uses confirmed pivots together with a configurable buffer.
The minimum trailing step prevents unnecessarily small stop modifications.
Opposite recovery
The recovery system is optional.
When enabled, a genuine losing SL event can create an opposite recovery trade according to the selected recovery timing.
Recovery positions can use either the previous stopped position's entry as their stop reference or a fixed recovery stop distance.
The recovery TP can optionally be calculated to cover the realized loss of the recovery chain, with an additional percentage if configured.
The chain can also be stopped after a recovery SL if that option is enabled.
This system can increase trading exposure and should be configured and tested carefully before use.
Optional AI confirmation
The AI confirmation system is an additional decision layer placed after the EA has already produced a valid trade candidate.
AI does not independently scan the market and does not create its own BUY or SELL signals.
For each candidate, the EA can send information such as the originating strategy, proposed direction, recent Renko structure, Power Trend state, risk/reward geometry, spread, existing BUY and SELL exposure, current floating results, account margin conditions and relevant strategy-specific context.
The AI can then:
ALLOW the original trade, BLOCK it, or adjust its volume within the permitted multiplier range.
It cannot reverse the trade or change the deterministic strategy.
The minimum confidence input defines the required AI confidence for an ALLOW decision.
The minimum and maximum volume multipliers define the permitted sizing range.
Allow AI to increase lot size should remain disabled if AI is intended only as a conservative filtering and reduction layer.
AI confirmation is optional. The EA can operate normally with AI disabled.
Live AI mode requires the user's own compatible API access, API key and the required MetaTrader WebRequest permission. API availability, pricing and usage limits are controlled by the API provider and are separate from this EA.
AI backtesting
MetaTrader Strategy Tester does not perform the same live WebRequest workflow used by the live AI mode.
For this reason, the EA contains a two-pass testing workflow.
In the first pass, the EA exports trade candidates.
Those candidates can then be processed by the AI decision script.
In the second pass, the EA replays the saved AI decisions during the same historical test.
This makes it possible to compare the deterministic EA with the AI-confirmed version using the same historical period and settings.
Recommended testing
Before using any configuration on a live account, test it using the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester with conditions that are reasonably close to the intended broker environment.
Different symbols, brokers, spreads, commissions, leverage, execution conditions, Renko sizes and parameter combinations can produce different results.
Start with controlled risk and understand how the selected position-management and recovery features interact before increasing exposure.
Support and example settings
After purchasing Renko Nexus AI, you can contact me directly through the MQL5.com messaging system.
I can provide example .set files that I use as starting configurations for different strategy combinations and risk-management styles.
These set files are optional examples and are not a guarantee of future results.
If you want to use the optional AI confirmation system in historical testing, contact me through MQL5 Messages and I can also help you with the candidate export, AI decision and tester replay workflow.
Support is provided through the MQL5 platform only.
Important information
Renko Nexus AI is an automated trading tool. It does not guarantee profitability or protection from losses.
Historical tests cannot predict future market behavior. Results can vary because of market conditions, broker execution, spread, commission, leverage, symbol specifications and parameter settings.
Recovery, multiple-position and dynamic lot-sizing features can increase account exposure. Users should select risk settings appropriate for their own account and test configurations before live use.
The optional AI module is a confirmation and sizing layer. It does not guarantee better trades or profitable results.
The EA should be treated as a configurable trading system and risk-management framework, not as a profit guarantee.
