Liquidity Sweep Reversal EA — New York Range × Asia Session
Overview
SweepHunter is a rules-based expert advisor that trades the structural handoff between the New York and Asia sessions. It anchors on the price extremes formed in the final hours of New York trading, then watches the Asia session for a liquidity sweep of those levels — a wick beyond the level followed by price snapping back inside. When that pattern confirms, SweepHunter enters a reversal trade on the same candle, with stop loss, take profit, and position size all calculated automatically.
No indicators, no curve-fit signals — just session structure and price action.
How It Works
- Define the range — SweepHunter tracks the high and low set during a configurable late-New York window.
- Wait for the sweep — during the Asia session, it watches for price to wick beyond the NY high or low and then trade back inside it.
- Enter on confirmation — the trade triggers immediately, on the same candle, using live tick data rather than waiting for a candle close.
- Manage the trade — stop loss sits beyond the sweep wick with a buffer; take profit targets the opposite NY level when the resulting reward:risk is reasonable, otherwise falls back to a fixed RR multiple.
