Most EAs only make money in one type of market: trend-followers get chopped to pieces in ranges; grid systems get wiped out by a single trend. boboji uses a multi-dimensional ADX engine to detect market regime and switches automatically between two completely different position management logics — this is what fundamentally sets it apart.
Core Mechanisms
1. ADX Market Regime Engine (Range / Trend / Transition) - ADX ≤ 20 → ranging market: mean-reversion entries near Bollinger bands, fast 1.5×ATR take-profit, never gamble on direction - ADX ≥ 25 → trending market: the inverted pyramid engine activates, letting one correct entry amplify itself - Transition zone → no trades, filtering out the most dangerous fake-breakout territory at the source
2. Inverted Pyramid Engine (Trend Mode) - After the first position moves into profit, additional layers are added at ATR-based steps, each layer’s lot size multiplied (default 1.5×) — the stronger the trend, the heavier the position - Exclusive “new-extreme add rule”: adds are only allowed after price makes a new high/low relative to the last add — no suicidal re-chasing after a top-layer stop-out - Add lot sizes are anchored to the first position, cutting the runaway “floating profit → equity → lot size” feedback loop
3. Pullback Entry + Structure Stop (V6 Core Upgrade) - No chasing: after a signal fires, the EA waits for a 0.5×ATR pullback before entering — drastically reducing entries at spike tops - Signals are split into a Direction group (state) + Trigger group (event) for dual confirmation, eliminating fake confluence from correlated indicators - Stops are placed beyond the most recent swing high/low (structure stop); if the distance is unreasonable, the trade is simply skipped — no trade is better than a bad trade - Trend entries require a rising ADX — no positions in exhausted trends
4. Group Floating-Profit Drawdown Exit (Peak Lock-In) - Monitors the entire position group’s floating P/L peak in real time; when the giveback exceeds the configured percentage, the whole group is closed — profits are banked, not donated back
