The bot shows very promising results in backtests, based on small profits and a relatively large stop loss. Historical data suggests that losses are quickly recovered. In live trading, many of the trades shown in the backtest are not executed. As a result, when a large stop loss occurs, the recovery trades often do not take place and losses remain unrecovered. For this reason, the bot performs very poorly in live trading and is not reliable.

This Expert Advisor (EA) is not recommended! Many small profits are quickly wiped out by large losses. Today, the EA triggered a trade that hit the stop-loss at -15%. There were also several live signals, which were repeatedly reset after pullbacks. Therefore, the complete history was never visible in the live signals. Currently, no live signal is being displayed at all. The past pullbacks are also not visible in the backtest. Pullbacks can happen, but an EA should still show an overall positive return. I'm not sure this EA will.

Hello. I have been using SGEAR for 2 months. 7 trades only, but all in Profit, with IC Market. Will install the new version now and see if the number of trades increase.

23 January 2026: Updating my review. Still zero losses after using the EA for 4 months. Number of trades did not increase much with the new version (only one extra trade). So far, it is the most profitable EA I found on the market, and I bought or tested a lot. Thank you to the developer. I will post the trades over last 4 months in the comment section
