Machine Prop Xau — Professional EA for XAUUSD
Overview
Machine Prop Xau is an algorithmic trading Expert Advisor specifically designed for trading the XAUUSD (Gold/Dollar) pair. It is built on a confluence system with three trend/momentum filters and two price action entry triggers, and includes integrated institutional risk management.
The system was developed with both independent traders looking to conservatively grow a small account and prop firms (investment firms) in mind, requiring strict daily drawdown and maximum drawdown rules.
Signal Engine — Confluence System ADX + RVI + KST
Each trade must pass through the three confluence filters before execution:
ADX / Trend Gauge: Measures the actual strength of the trend and requires the +DI/-DI to confirm the signal direction. It filters out markets without a defined trend (range).
RVI (Relative Vigor Index): Confirms the directional strength of the movement before enabling entry.
KST (Know Sure Thing): A multi-cycle momentum indicator (4 weighted rates of change) that requires the momentum to be accelerating, not losing strength.
Entry Triggers
Moving Average Crossover (Fast/Slow EMA): Identifies the start of new directional impulses.
Three Reversal Bars: A price action pattern that detects trend exhaustion and a reversal confirmed by a strong candlestick.
Risk Management
Dynamic Stop Loss and Take Profit with a configurable minimum risk/reward ratio.
Automatic Trailing Stop and Break Even.
Daily loss limit (circuit breaker) — automatically closes the trade when the configured percentage is reached.
Limits on simultaneous positions and total traded volume.
Cooldown between trades to prevent overtrading.
Optional maximum spread filter and session time window. Real-time visual dashboard displaying filter status, open positions, and account statistics.
